'Soul Man' Sam Moore tells Obama to stop using his song

How stupid! I don't support Obama but if you put a song out there, expect it to be played. Sam Moore must be an idiot.

I agree. All these people who ever wrote a song or did anything that later a band might play, etc., are only showing their moronic side. They ought to be glad someone is playing the darn thing. I never hear music from a candidate and assume the songwriter endorses that candidate. This foolishness needs to stop; this isn't the first time this has happened.

He has every right to tell Obama to stop using his song.

I went to an Obama rally last month and they played a ton of R&B/Soul songs all the way from Otis Redding to India.Arie.

According to alot of the stories circulating, Obama has been getting the majority of the black votes and their backing, and it's even been insinuated that many blacks are voting for Obama just because he is black. So what happened with Sam Moore? He actually ment what his song said,

If your a brother in Christ you would not like Obama either!! Yes, he is black, but he is not a brother in Christ he doesn't even beleive in him.
