Rosie Says Terrorists Only Exist Our Minds

On today's "View", Rosie with conviction said that there is no such thing as terrorists and that terrorists are something that the Bush administration conjured up so we would be scared to death. She actually called them phantom terrorists! What in the hell planet does this woman live on? Does the name Daniel Pearl ring a bell? How 'bout the guy (or guys) for that matter who have been beheaded ON FILM and put on the internet? Here's one.... how 'bout those planes that flew into the WORLD TRADE CENTER???? Phantoms? She hates the current Administration so much, that she is in complete denial of the danger our Country could be in. Rosie is absolutely not qualified to make such irresponsible statements. Maybe she needs to have a little sit down with George Tenant and get the real story, rather than sitting at her little table with her gal pals just throwing unfactual statements around like they're true. What a disgrace. Rosie never ceases to surprise us with her nonsense.

How dare you characterize soldiers in the Army as poor children who can't afford an education or convicted felons. You have absolutely no idea what is reality.

My son, at the age of 26, the son of upper middle class parents, quit a great job at an express carrier service to join the Army, something he has wanted to do all of his life.

He proudly served his country in Iraq last year and in fact, re-enlisted and is progressing quickly up the ranks.

You owe my son, and all of his fellow soldiers, an apology for your uninformed,
unbelievable characterization. It is my son, and the sons and daughters of my fellow Americans who defend and protect your right to utter these untruths.

By the way, I am a Democrat and didn't and still don't beleive Dubbau and Cheney's story for war, but the comments you made today about the type and character of our soldiers is reprehensible

I noticed that too. She made it sound like the military was a place where you send men and women who need to be straightened out and educated. Rikki Lake was agreeing with her, by the way. Once upon a time the military was something that troubled young men used to sign up for, but that was back when they would take pretty much anyone who signed up. The times are very different now and the system has changed. In fact, today, they would rather keep the riff-raff out of our military and prefer people of respect, dignity and education. Rosie has gone off one too many times commenting on subjects she's not informed on.

We need to snail mail ABC and their sponsers with our complaints about Rosie and Barbara Walters for keeping this nutty windbag on the air. She should have been fired long ago. ABC news had and may still have a poll on their site with two questions about Rosie and if she will be missed. A good 2/3 voted they are GLAD to see her going - a statistic she DOESN'T rant about LOL.
If you don't snail mail, then e-mail ABC and sponsers with your complaints and BOYCOTT until she is gone.

I suppose anyone that does not make the big money that Rosie makes is poor in her mind.

Question for Rosie! Why did that bridge fall in California.. you know the one that the steel was weakened by fire and collapsed? Or did the government do that also?

I missed The View today...do you know where I can go to see a video of Rosie saying these things? I won't believe it til I see it for myself. I have a son in the military as well so important for me to see and hear with my own eyes and ears.

Rosie AND Ricki Lake both made the statement that the only reason people sign up for our voluntary military is because they are poor and they want an education - that's it. I don't think either of these women have a clue that the education of the people enlisting is quite phenomenal. I can't believe that Rosie and Ricki are so ignorant that they don't think that those who enlist in the military know that they are possibly signing up for future combat. They give no credit to the men and women who defend this country of ours. They would have you think the enlisted are dumb, poor and can't make decisions for themselves. Please!!!

Really, she said it just like it is? According to my son, 90% of hs friends are college graduates or have some level of college, pre-Army. You didn't think it was disrespectful that she characterized your son as entering the military because he couldn't go anywhere else, because of income, or he has just got out of prison. Becky is Canandian, not American, so maybe she just doesn't get it. If she was that proud, she would have been insulted by O'Donnells words for sure.
