MY HUSBAND AND I LOST EVERYTHING WE OWNED WHEN HURRICANE IVAN HIT FLA. WE WERE LIVING ON TROUT BAYOU IN MILTON,FL AND HAD 5 1/2 FT ON WATER INSIDE OUR HOME. WE HAD NO FLOOD INSURANCE. FEMA WAS NOT VERY HELPFUL. THEY DID LOAN US A TRAVEL TRALER TO PUT IN OUR YARD FOR OVER A YR. WE HAD TO PUT EVERYTHING WE OWNED ON THE STREET. WE HAD TO TAKE OUT EVERYTHING BUT THE CEILING. THEN WHEN HURRICANE DENNIS CAME WE LOST OUR ROOF. WE HAVE BEEN LUCKY THAT FRIENDS AND FAMILY GAVE US SOME FURNITURE TO SIT ON. NOTHING MATCHES BUT WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR WHAT WE HAVE. THIS IS WHY WE WANT TO WIN THE $25,000.00 A DAY ROOM GIVE AWAY. I HAVE REGISTERED EVERY DAY. PLEASE CHOOSE US.

MY DAUGHTER IS PREGNANT, UNEXPECTANTLY, AT 34 YEARS OF AGE. SHE HAS A 10-YEAR OLD SON, IS A VETEREN OF THE U.S. ARMY, AND A FIRST TIME HOME OWNER. HER HOME IS VERY SMALL AND ONLY HAS TWO BEDROOMS. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HER SMALL BASEMENT AREA CONVERTED TO ANY EXTRA BEDROOM TO MAKE PLACE FOR THE BABY UPSTAIRS. MY DAUGHTER IS A GOOD CITIZEN AND WORKS VERY HARD FOR HER AND HER SON AT THE VETERENS ASSOCIATION. ADDING A NEW BABY WILL BE A FINANCIAL CHALLENGE FOR HER. A ROOM MAKEOVER WILL BRING HER SPIRITS UP AND GIVE HER PEACE THAT SHE CAN PROVIDE FOR HER FAMILY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION - THIS WOULD BRING JOY TO HER LIFE WHEN EVERYTHING LOOKS STRESSFUL FOR HER FUTURE.

when we built our home. it was a shell, everyone in family was going to help us, because we have helped them at no cost to them, but i haven't seen them yet 17 year's later, my kitchen cabnets are still sitting in floor, my husband passed away 2yrs ago, and now no one comes around any more, when he was alive they came because he help them loan them money ,anything to help, ican't do that, i do cook and carry food to 3 other people every day, but when i need help ,no one is there for me, i would love to have a kitchen that is more convenlent, so i hope i win.

This past year in Nov. I lost my husband of 51 years. As a result, I am living on a fixed income, and my spirits have been pretty low. Our house is 30 years old and my kitchen needs remodeling. I watch 'The View' everyday. If I won the room makeover it would certainly lift my spirits. Also, I just learned to use the computer and this is my first offical act on it. Have a nice day. If I were lucky enough to win the give away I would love to give my grandaughter a place that would be special only to her. You see she is deaf/blind and wheelchair bound. We could create a space that would be made to order only for her. Interactive muscial walls, hydrolic bed for therapies and a Hoyer lift system to help manuver her into her stander, potty, and bath. Maddie is beautiful, spunky and happy all the time. She has had double cochlear implants so she can hear now. Her main joy to play music and give big hugs. God bless to all.

My husband and I have dreamed about remodeling our home since the day we moved in. This is the house my husband grew up in so it is very special to us. We worked on the kids bedrooms and rearrange the living room a few times. In the winter a pike brust in our basement bathroom and alot of damage was done. After the pike was repaired. Our washer broke and caused a small flood. We did what we could to bring the basement back from the dead but we didn't have the money to do so and we had a two month old to think of. This would be great for the kids and my husband to hang out again like they use to. Thanks for listening and God Bless.

My husband & I moved from Oregon 6 years ago to Twin Falls for a job he took here. In July he lost his job. We had plans to put in a bathroom in our upstairs bedroom. As it is now we have to hike to the bathroom which is on the main floor and through the kitchen. I have watched the View for years. Now that my husband has been home for 6 months he too enjoys the view. Thank you for this opportunity. Kathy

I am a widow sinct 1990 and raised my daughter alone. She is a college graduate and i am so proud. I am 55 years old and recently lost my job as the company set me up to fail to save money. I never thought at my age I would be on unemployment. It is very scary and hard at my age to get the interview before a younger person. I would love to have my bedroom redone, which the furniture is 20years old.
thank you for this opportunity. Valerie Curry Kearny NJ.
Also: any positions open for customer service or collections I am qualitified. And i am willing to learn any position i can be trained for. I will forward my resume upon requst. Thanks again and have a wonderful day.

I have registered but not for myself. The most wonderful people lost their home, which has been in the family for over 100 years, a couple of weeks ago to fire. Six years ago, when I had become homeless, both Deb and Larry took me in and we were total strangers. I myself would never have taken on such a risk, and they got a lot of flack from other family members, but they put their faith and trust in a higher power and thank God they did. I also needed love. They are involved in missionary work/etc. and give from their heart without reservation or expecting anything in return. They still have 4 out of 10 children living at home. It was just awful to see them lose everything and what a grand world this would be if, when the entire family gets together in the spring to join and rebuild, the mother got the porch she has dreamed of her entire life. I pray this family is picked.

My husband and i watch the view every day and enjoy the banter. We really would like to win the room give away. Both my husband and i are on disability, we have 1 child still living at home. Our house furnace died about 5 years ago and we have had to use space heaters, last year our pipes froze and flooded our house it cost us all our savings. With the money we could replace our heater and fixed the things we weren't able to finish plumbing/floors/insulation. We're just glad winter is over. I pray daily for a miracle.

I have Scleroderma and am on disability. My partner and myself saved for thirteen years to redo our home. Unfortunaly, we did not take the balance out of the bank and lost the remaing funds for upstairs. Every month I get an infusion that takes two full days at home with my nurse then another six to eight days in bed to recover so that I can have some health for the remaing month. I am now approching my 40th infusion and spend so much time upstairs in bed and in my bathroom. It would make me so happy to be able to redo my bath so I could soak when my muscles are hurting so bad and make it like a spa. Then one day I would make my bedroom match.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Virgo

You're feeling restless and need to introduce as much variety into your day as possible. However, you'll want this to be on your own terms, and you certainly won't like it if plans are changed without your consent or you feel you've lost control of the situation. Try to take everything in your stride, otherwise you'll end up feeling exhausted and frazzled.
