These people have seized on a series of misstatements. "It sounded like an explosion." No it didn't it sounded like a big honking building collapsing. I was colse enough where if I had turned left instead of right I wouldn't be posting. Oh yes I know what explosives sound like I
worked with them for twenty years. No bombs no demolition no cause. You want to bash the Government go ahead you have that right but pick a topic that has a touch of truth to it.

Finally, I hear a clear voice in the forest. It is nice to know that people that have first hand knowledge of the incident speak out so that these people who speak without knowledge of the truth are quieted. Thanks for your post.

I ate beans last night and heard multiple explosions going on down in the lower levels. Thankfully, no one demolished me.

I think firefighters will agree with me that when Rosie says that "...When WTC7 fell it was the first time in history that fire melted steel..." She's an idiot. Steel is melted everyday in a foundry. By fire even.

If to cars crash in a major accident..and a reporter heads to the scene...the witnesses will say...

A.) I heard what sounded like a big explosion...

B.) loud noises make me pee

C.) my expertise in materials used to blow up buildings tells me that these to cars had bombs inside of them-there was a very loud rough deep noise...but I dont use the word explosion...accept in the case of EXPLOSIVE DIARHEA-

I had explosive diarhea...and then the government took me away so noone would find out what really happened.

To the truth,
When WTC 7 came down there were no firefighters in the building. The reason was the one wall was deemed too weakened to support the roof structure and the upper floors. After seeing tower 1 and 2 fall everyone was very wary about 7. The fires inside had burned for the majority of the day fed by the diesel mix that was stored on upper floors to power the generators for the City Emergency Operations Center which was located in that building. At the time of the collapse there were several engineers and several fire chiefs discussing what to do with the building. Demolition was discussed but at no time was the use of explosives seriously mentioned because to place them we would have had to go inside a very unstable structure and that was not going to happen at least at that time.

When the building came down it was a crash it was not a controlled drop.

My unit arrived on the scene just as the second tower collapsed. We were then assigned to clear debris so heavy equipment could move in to assist with the rescue efforts. Our task completed we were then sent to check the structures in the Plaza area and across the Westside Highway WFC buildings as they had also suffered damage. I was ordered to report to the command post which had been set up by WTC7 NYCEMCP. At that time I was drawn into the discussion of the status of WTC7 I had just convinced them to move from their location due to the bow in the wall when glass started coming down again. We were in process of moving the Command Post when the building came down. I pushed one of the RTO's to the right and followed him when a slab of concrete about 50X50 hit the street directly to my left. The impact picked me up and threw me across the hood of a patrol car depositing me on my butt in front of the car. My unit stayed on scene for the next 72 hours placing heavy equipment for the rescue effort and then shifted to a 12 on 12 off schedule for the next 120 days.
