Hi Damages fans,

As we reach episode 3, the plot thickens with more twists and turns than ever before. Our podcast interview with Glenn Close and Rose Byrne continues, details of which are below.

Episode 3 catch up - Patty is shocked to hear evidence that Daniel previously assaulted his wife. Ellen finally uncovers that Daniel fathered Patty’s son, Michael, and reveals all to the FBI.
Local reporter Josh Renton uncovers evidence that UNR are polluting the local water supply but is accosted by UNR’s company assailants. Patty agrees to represent Daniel but he is arrested as he tries to leave the country and Tom discovers that Patty was behind it.

In next week’s episode 4, will Daniel come any closer to discovering who murdered his wife or will the evidence turn against him? Will Patty, Tom and Ellen ever get the evidence they need to confirm their suspicions about UNR polluting the water supply?

Don’t forget, you can download episodes 1-3 now on iTunes at http://www.itunes.com/tv/damages . Subsequent episodes will be available on iTunes the day after they’re broadcast on BBC One, Sundays at 10:20pm.

In this week’s exclusive podcast interview, we spoke with Glenn Close who told us more about Patty and Daniel’s relationship and what inspired Daniel to come back to Patty after all these years. We also spoke with Rose Byrne who told us what it felt like to have her character totally changed in season 2 and how working with the FBI is affecting her. In the latest episode of Damages, Daniel is cleared of any involvement in his wife’s murder and Patty’s case against Ultima National Resources for the dumping of toxic chemicals is strengthening. And in this week’s podcast interview, Glenn Close and Rose Byrne speak to us about their characters and reveal exclusive storyline insights.

Episode 4 catch up
Kevin Walker confesses to murdering Christine but Patty is convinced that he wasn’t acting alone. Worried that Walker could cave under pressure, UNR’s CEO Walter Kendrick tells Claire Maddox to make sure that he never talks. Cleared of murdering his wife, Daniel persuades Patty to meet their son Michael. Reporter Josh Renton uncovers pollution of the water samples but Daniel surprises Patty by claiming no sign of toxicity - little does she know that Daniel has taken a bribe to torpedo her case.

In next week’s episode
Will Patty back off from her case against UNR? Will Ellen prevent the government’s investigation of her boss from being derailed and will Patty finally discover the truth about Ellen’s undercover investigation?

As we reach episode 5 of Damages, Patty redoubles her efforts to punish Ultima National Resources (UNR) for dumping toxic waste and Ellen is more determined than ever to maintain the FBI’s investigation of Patty. In this week’s podcast interview, Glenn Close and Rose Byrne reveal exclusive insights into the show and discuss how it feels working on scenes they don’t know the outcome of.

Episode 5 catch up
The case against UNR is gathering pace. Patty is more determined than ever to prosecute UNR for dumping toxic material, despite Daniel failing to back up her claims. Knowing that UNR is seeking approval from the government for an upcoming merger, Patty hands over her files on the company to Douglas Schiff, the deputy director at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Even though Schiff has the evidence to halt the merger, he tells Patty that he’s been overruled by his superiors at the FERC.

At Tom’s tenth anniversary at the firm, Ellen returns to Patty’s apartment for the first time since the murder of her fiancé. However, the FBI are concerned that Patty is becoming increasingly suspicious. Ellen is worried that the case against Patty will fall apart and that her collaboration with the FBI will be exposed so she leads Patty astray, telling her that she had been approached by the FBI but has refused to cooperate with them. Finally, and to protect Patty from further investigation, the hitman hired to kill Ellen during the Frobisher case is sent into hiding by Uncle Pete.

In next week’s episode
What lengths will Patty go to tie UNR to the murder of Daniel Purcell’s wife? What will be the outfall of Patty’s accusations and will Ellen link Frobisher to the murder of her fiancé?

Hi guys,

Here’s the latest update on Damages starring Glenn Close and Rose Byrne.

As we reach the halfway stage in Damages season 2, Patty goes to unusual lengths to accuse Ultima National Resources’ CEO of being behind the murder of Daniel Purcell’s wife. In this week’s podcast interview, we talk to Glenn Close and Rose Byrne who reveal exclusive insights into the show. And this week’s clip features some of season’s 2 new characters, including William Hurt, Marcia Gay Harden and Timothy Olyphant, talking about their roles.

Episode 6 catch up
Whilst Ultima National Resources (UNR) continue to bury evidence that links the company to the water pollution of West Virginia, Patty uses a TV interview to accuse UNR’s boss Walter Kendrick of the murder of Daniel Purcell’s wife. Claire Maddox uses this to end her affair with Daniel and encourages Kendrick to sue Patty for defamation to stop the growing damage to UNR’s stock price. In a chance meet, Kendrick ignores Frobisher’s advice to avoid a confrontation with Patty and orders Claire to sue to the tune of $200m.

Meanwhile, Katie comes across the rogue cop Eliot Tolken who tailed her during the Frobisher lawsuit. Whilst Katie is concerned, Ellen is hoping to use Tolken to tie Frobisher to David O’ Conner’s murder but Tolken knows too much and is killed. Finally, Patty settles the defamation case against Kendrick and tells Ellen that she’s found a new plaintiff in the case against UNR. What Patty doesn’t tell Ellen is that the plaintiff is none other than Frobisher.

In next week’s episode
Will Patty tell Ellen that Frobisher is the new plaintiff in the case against UNR? Will Frobisher shed any light on who killed David and will Uncle Pete cave in under the pressure of the FBI?

Hi there,

Described as “the most addictive, gripping and entertaining drama to touch down from the States in years” by Outside the Box and “...a cut above the rest” by TV Guide, here’s the latest update on Damages.

As we reach episode 7 of Damages, Frobisher is revealed as the plaintiff in the lawsuit against Ultima Resources National (URN) and the FBI start to focus their investigation on Uncle Pete. In this week’s podcast interview, we talk to Glenn Close and Rose Byrne who reveal what it’s like working on TV as opposed to film and Rose talks about how Ellen is dealing with her emotions.

Episode 7 catch up
Ellen is stunned to hear that Frobisher is the plaintiff against URN but Patty explains to Ellen that using him could help strengthen their case and shed light on David’s murder.

As Katie frets over the murder of rogue policeman Eliot Tolken, two men are arrested after being spotted paying off Uncle Pete to gain his cooperation. Uncle Pete’s criminal record and long association with Patty makes him the perfect focus for the FBI’s investigation.

As Wes Krulik gives firearms training to Ellen, a mysterious visitor warns Frobisher against pursuing the case against URN and then tells Wes that he should turn his attention to Katie if he can’t get the information he needs from Ellen. Finally, Uncle Pete agrees to give agents Harrison and Werner information which could incriminate Patty but in an act of loyalty, Uncle Pete commits suicide rather than reveal anything.

In next week’s episode
Will Uncle Pete survive his suicide attempt and will Frobisher back out of the case against URN?
