You would think that the way things are headed for the GOP they would welcome support from anywhere they could get it. It's as if they have no desire to be anywhere near the White House when our last 8 years of record spending comes home to roost.

Funny that this "report" says Ron Paul ended his campaign months ago. Its NOT TRUE! He is still actively running and captured 24% in Idaho just days ago. In other words, 1/4 of Republicans do not support McCain and Paul supporters will NOT vote for McBush. I hope the GOP is prepared for a landslide loss not seen in presidential history.

I could care less who wins, Republocrat or Democon. What should be important to everyone is whoever gets picked should fulfill their job according the country's rule book, the Constitution. When you are watching professional sports everyone expects the judges to not take sides or have their own agenda. They are expected to make sure that both sides stick to the rules. I don't see why a President or any other person "SWORN" to uphold and defend it should have a "platform" The platform has been laid out since 1776 and if the rules are to change, there are appropriate ways to do it and that doesn't mean voting for the next Dictator because you like the platform of that Dictator. For those of you that think America is a Democracy or that the Federal Reserve is Federal, please do your country and the rest of us a favor by staying home on election day. You are far too uninformed to be choosing our next leader. The only exception to this is if you were to go and write in Ron Paul's name. For those of you who just can't figure out what it is going through the minds of the Paul supporters I would suggest for starters watching the online videos Overview of America and America Freedom to Fascism. I think I can speak for most Paul supporters when I say that living in this country is like being on an ice burgh where the majority of the people want to ride it out while the Paul people are screaming from the roof tops to get off the burgh and into the boat but Americans think the boat is too nutty of an idea.

I hope everyone inside continues their deep sleep tonight. For when they awaken and they will they will be ashamed of their ignorance.

Ron Paul supporters don't be discouraged, we WILL take back our country with educating ourselves, get a copy of the US Constitution! The establishment doesn't want us to care about what's going on, educate, and talk to everyone you know.

Too true, Whale. Freedom will not go silently into the night. Become educated about our system. Join your local government, become a statesman/stateswoman, and together we can kick these Neo-con usurpers out of our Republican Party and return to our Constitutional Republic.

"Ron Paul has been out of the Presidential race for months..."? Would the reporter care to document when Dr. Paul withdrew? After all, the Republicans have no endorsed Presidential candidate. Let's try harder to get out facts, shall we?

Where is the footage of Ron Paul saying out of HIS mouth that, "He knows his presidential run is over??"

Good grief, anyone can say anything and it doesn't make it so.

He is STILL in this race and millions will write him in even if he does drop out later.

Please just stick with reporting the news instead of trying to "create" it.

His Presidental run isn't really over in the minds of the people that know what is at stake for America's future. The GOP is being unfair and has been since day one. They are AFRAID to let Ron Paul through the door, because McCain's delegates would get to hear Dr. Paul's views and might just be refreshed. If the media and the GOP would back off, Ron Paul would have just as much, if not more of a chance than the 3 candidates they 'present to us as choices'. My vote goes to Ron Paul, because I will not vote for the lesser of the evils.

To find out more about Dr. Paul and to hear him, go to YouTube and type his name in ... there is information everywhere. Or go to RonPaul2008.com , which is his official site. I have heard him over and over and he is the REAL DEAL. Very honest, and is not packing dirty laundry or dirty secrets. He has the people and America's best interest in mind and he knows where we are headed. While on YouTube also check out the NAU and the SPP ... Dr. Paul is the only candidate that will stop this and thus prevent us from losing our Sovereignty. This is one issue you will not hear the others talk about.

Most people take liberty for granted and they are too busy either working their butts off to pay taxes or are sitting in front of the TV being brainwashed. They expect our Government to provide for their every need. What they don't realize is that if Ron Paul looses this election, we won't have an America anymore curtosy of the NAU. People need to wake up and look at the real issues. Thus, the reason for lying about Dr. Paul leaving the race and making him stand outside so the McCain supporters won't hear his views.

why did your 'reporter' get his facts so wrong in this report? Dummy Rules said that ''Ron Paul was out of the race for months'' which is untrue. he is still running. he says that ''Paul knows his presidential run is over'' he has never said that and he is running to the finish at the GOP convention. this he has said many times.
this reporter should be fired for spreading neocon propaganda.

I am a civil libertarian (Iowa) Democrat and I am not hostile to Ron Paul or his supporters. Please accept some friendly advice. Cut down on rough language because it plays into the impression that was left by the last two sentences, that frustrated Ron Paul supporters were to blame for the "fights." Maybe you had signs that were provocative, or said things that triggered violence by others -- but I suspect there were some "sore winners" who resented you. Second, don't be afraid to be in coalition with civil libertarians who differ with you on other issues, or with anti-Iraq war people who differ on other issues. You'll make friends that way, and you can educate us about the Fed.

It is no surprise that the neocons would omit Dr. Paul; because they are scared of his views and his ideals. Dr. Paul is the only credible candidate running for president, period. Mccain lacks the leadership, intellect, and patriotism to even consider running for president. McCain is a traitor to his nation and will only bring amnesty to millions of illegals and topple this country even further.
