Ringo Starr to release 'Soundstage' appearance on DVD Sept. 15
the former Beatle's live 2005 performance for the PBS series "Soundstage," will be released on DVD Sept. 15 by E1 (formerly Koch) Video, the label announced Wednesday.
The 14-song set, which hasn't been released on DVD previously, includes the Beatles’ classics “Yellow Submarine,” “With A Little Help From My Friends,” and “Octopus’s Garden” as well as "Photograph” and "Memphis In Your Mind" from Ringo's solo career. Special guest Colin Hay of Men At Work joins Starr onstage for “Who Can It Be Now.”

2 It sounds like it might be a pretty good DVD for the Ringo and Men at work fans.I wished Ringo and Paul wouldn't do some of the same songs over and over on every tour.I 'd like to see Ringo do I call your name instead of yellow submarine he does that song at every show I think I know it's his signature tune but That song and photograph have been done too many times already.I'd rather here the no no no song for a change or I'm the greatest.Colin Hay can sing well. |

1 Hi Jack, Yea even though it was recorded 4 years ago, it's cool. I wish they would release his 1998 VH1 storytellers show on dvd, it was really cool. |
