um, turn on the weather channel. it isn't 2019, yet .. is it not even close.
the next ten years should be interesting, but, whether it is LA or NY...so what?

TDK aside, part of the reason this film is still SO current a QUARTER CENTURY after it was released is just how on target its predictions were/are.
perhaps it will be closer to 2119 before mass exodus to the "outer colonies" drops the value of empty real estate but believe me when i say that geneitc cloning run amok isnot so far away. there are many reasons this film remains so popular. and i predict it remains a classic for another quarter century and i will be sharing its message and lessons with my grandchildren. |
