Hello from Belgium,
It is so good to read your very interesting review of DIE WALKÜRE at the WNO.
Thank you, Mr Tim Smith, specially for your very positive words about Plácido Domingo singing Siegmund as it was his own life , with his UNIQUE Artistry : he is really an amazing performer and we have to say our gratitude to him to give us such richness in our heart and passionate emotion in our soul .
After your own wonderful review, no doubt that lot of people will be trying to get tickets...despite it is already announced to be almost "sold out"...
BRAVO to the WNO and his sensational General Director...and THANK YOU again to you !
Best regards to you*******Micheline VERDIERE

Dear Mr Smith,
Thank you so much for this fine review! Many Europeans would have wanted to come and see the Washington Walküre, but unfortunately one cannot always do what one wants to.:-) So your vivid description gave us at least an impression about how it was. How we envy you for having that multi-talented unique artist Plácido Domingo in your country, who keeps on astonishing the opera world with his incredible power and the sheer beauty of his fascinating voice. I cannot think of any other singer in history who had such a long career without becoming only a shadow of what he/she was once. Mr Domingo is an exception in every way. May he stay in such an amazing shape for many more years to make us all eye- and ear-witnesses of a "musically miracle" as long as possible. Thank you again for your great article. Warm regards from Austria!
