The play explores women's rights and other socio-economic issues when upper-middle-class parents try to have their daughter committed to a psychiatric facility rather than have her trial for manslaughter reveal that she is a prostitute.

In 1987, the play was made into a movie starring Barbra Streisand and Richard Dreyfuss.

The play begins at 7:30 p.m. at the GCC Performing Arts Center, 6000 W. Olive Ave.

Tickets are $8 for general admission and $5 for students, faculty, staff, alumni and seniors.
