I believe that there is a real move of God happening in Lakeland. However, it is not without controversy and issues, just like during the early church. Much of the severe criticism is coming from starch believers, and I have found much of it unfounded. Many say that real revival involves repentance, hunger for God and His Word, turning from sin, etc. How do they know that this is not happening among the attendees? Also, there must be some serious sobbering up among leadership. When we abandone reverence and order the spirit of fanaticism and error will creep in and wreck havoc-doing serious damage the credibility of the move. Todd obvious needs counseling and covering. I personally would not let others publically prophecy or read personal prophecies during this meeting. If they are off-the movement becomes bait for JAWS. An overall sobriety is needed. Revelations, dreams, visions are fine but we must preach Christ. He is the author and the finisher. Immaturity does not make one false. It just means that they have much room to grow like all of us. For a great read check out "A Step Into Deliverance" by T. Pugh. It is a riveting autobiography about a pastor's discovery of what is really sabotaging his ministry. A real page-turner!
