Guitarist Joe Don Rooney returns to Picher

I am a teacher at Picher and I just wanted to thank Joe Don and all those that has helped so much.

I think it is so much more than awwwwsome, that Joe Don still remembers where he came from & took the time to come home & show his respect & concern!!! Just another reason for us all to be proud of our hometown boy!!

It was a wonder and an amazement that jo don took time out of his busy life style to remember where his roots came from and to come back and lend a loing helping hand to those who lost everything. i am very proud to call him one of our home town boys.
