You know what? Kudos to Chuck D for coming in and sending a positive message.
Schools in minority communities are stacked with white teachers. Nothing wrong with that at all. But every one of these schools needs for Chuck to deliver this message. I hope he brings slides of his Public Enemy days so he can show the kids that he was the same guy as the thugs they now idolize. But his message about his friends crying behind bars is a powerful one that might even reach kids at that age.

Who said anything about racism? Everybody knows the truth about predominently black schools. The drop-out rates are sky high. Telling these kids to stay in school just wont cut it anymore. People have been using that phrase since I was in school. Anybody who cries racism after reading this post needs to get a life.
