I know, while we were watching I was like where is the Jovi?????? I just KNEW that one of their songs would be #1. When they said who was #1 I about knocked my recliner over I jumped up so fast...lol. My hubby just shook his head and quietly went to bed...lol. He is soooooooo very sick of hearing about Bon Jovi. |
Oh mine too!! Although, the other night I was chatty...well, rambly actually, and hubby said, "omg, how about you go talk to someone on the Bon Jovi forum??" LOL! I cracked up! |
Well, if your stud muffin doesn't want you to talk to him, you can come talk to us anytime sweetie! |
I was going on and on, like I can do, really well without breathing much...kind of like carrying on a conversation with myself...then asking him for input on things he couldn't even follow! HAHAH! I think his head was spinning... |

Judged: 1 1 Dude, you're in New Jersey and you're saying they "weren't a huge representation of what the 80s were all about???" Have you lived under a rock for the past 25 years?????????? |

Purple Rain represented the 80's? if you are going to pick a Prince song to represent, pick when doves cry or let's go crazy before purple rain. Either way, no one song represents and entire decade. We have new wave, hard rock, pop, dance, modern rock, rap, r&B and so many other genres to represent the decade and there are tons literally tons of songs that represented the 80's LOAP was a huge huge song, one of many different ones that made up the 80's and their entire list. The list asks what were the top songs of the decade not which one song encapsulates all our experiences. If one song could do that, we'd be rather dull, or it would have to sound pretty strange and be extremely long. |

OB, I think that one song exists...and it's called We Didn't Start The Fire by Billy Joel. The single most ridiculously sounding, nonsense song I've ever heard!!! LMAO!!!!!!!!!! |
