Sounds like the Pope just endorsed Obama. McCain and Bush's religion is filled with hate and violence. This is why we are in this economic disaster right now, and with McCain we will only dig ourselves in deeper!

Catholics, Muslims, Pentacostals, Evangelicals, we all need to come together and make America strong and respected again, dump Bush and McCain and vote Obama, someone that knows how to deal with all people, fairly.

The Pope is a war monger. someone should of smacked him in the mouth for his He urges not people of the cloth to go fight. just all others. Its all about converting the whole world over to his religion. You would be safer with the Hells Angels than with this pedophile praising, lying pig.

THE Pope should apologise to the parents of two Australian girls who were sexually abused by a priest when they were children, Premier John Brumby says.

Mr Brumby said it was not his job to tell the Pope what to do, but believed an apology would be appropriate if it helped Anthony and Christine Foster deal with their daughters' fate.

"There's been a lot of debate, a lot of controversy and a lot of hurt around this issue," he said.

"If an apology would reduce that hurt and relieve the suffering of families then I think it would be a very positive thing."

The Fosters arrived in Australia yesterday from Britain and were seeking an audience with the Pope to discuss the Catholic Church's handling of priest Kevin O'Donnell's rape of their daughters.

O'Donnell died in prison about 10 years ago.

I call for the Pope to allow contraception so that thousands
of children do not starve to death each day in Africa.

RE: Pope calls on religions to unite against terrorism
..... Anyone, anywhere on this planet, can invent a belief system with supporting literature, and hope to collect a lot of money from victims.
..... But only those who actually follow the lifestyle and teachings of a Christ are Christians per definition of the word.
..... The pope is the head of one of these many belief systems and he is as much entitled to preach, and require others to preach, a particular set of beliefs as is any other leader of a belief system. But does he really try to make members of his belief system to be BETTER PEOPLE? If so, does it work? Should he, can he, enforce the teachings of Jesus on ALL members and require all of them to ignore the teachings of Paul and also the teachings of all followers of Paul?
..... In countries that have separation between religion and state there should be a quite clear boundary between them; clergy should not meddle in matters of state if they don't want politicians to meddle in matters of religion.
