For cryin' out loud, you only accuse someone of lying because you don't like what they have to say and neigh want to consider the evidence nor the reasons why other people believe as they do.

Fool lives in a world of his own, like many functional psychotics. Things like 'facts' have no meaning in his world, but in fact re-enforce the sense of paranoia he has.

And just who, pray tell, has declared "mothers and fathers are no longer necessary in the home"? I'll even give you a hint: NOBODY.

The Gay lobby is the Diversity lobby.

Diversity (victim cult) people are the organized majority of voters both in the US and Israel.

God loves us all. Quit bickering. Stop throwing bible passages. There is enough teachings in the bible absent of anything sexual that would send all of us to jail for stoning each other. Live your life as Jesus lived his. Be thankful for all that you have and treat others as you would want to be treated. Gay strait or otherwise. We all could be fighting for a piece of bread or a sip of water. Now go out and celebrate life with the ones that you love.

What happened to those children was an absolute travesty...but the Pope can still speak out about the evils of ssm.....

Yes, it was a travesty -- one that the current Pope helped personally to cover up and so far has avoided being punished over.

Hence the general dismissal of anything he says about sexual morality.

But only a fool would hold what the pope says as relevant.

No Catholic church has ever been required to marry anybody. Zero same-sex marriages in Catholic churches after eight-plus years of civil marriage equality in Massachusetts.

How does what I post have anything to do with the future?!??

My comment about listening to the pope dealt with the present.

My comment on the factual number of same-sex marriages performed by the catholic church in Massachusetts dealt with the past eight-plus years.

So I find your response to be a non sequitur.

the pope is so dedicated to marriage that he forbids his clery to marry

and the church clearly considers priests superior to laymen

therefore, the church considers celibate men superior to married men

marriage is valued by the pope and his cronies only as a tool to breed more followers

Couldn't have said it better myself. But you'll notice that the "good Catholics" here are merciless to gays. They despise them; it's disgusting, because they really consider themselves "religious" while condemning other human beings just because they have a different sexual orientation.

But since the Catholic Church has NOT been pushed by the state to change its dogma what evidence do you have that at some time in the future that will change and they will be 'pushed' into performing same-sex marriages?

There are far more straights that would want to 'push' the church into performing marriages for divorced individuals than gays and lesbians seeking to have their marriages sanctified by the church. And yet, all acknowledge that the government lacks any legal right to tell any religion what their dogma should be. But yet, the Catholic church (and some other religions) are the ones trying to impose their dogma upon the state as well as other religions, religions that DO support civil marriage equality for same-sex couples.

If the Catholic church, or any religion, does not like or agree with any state's civil definition of marriage, that religion does not have to participate in those civil marriages.

It would seem that the pope has enough to deal with within his religion that he should leave things that are not catholic alone. But he doesn't so he should not be surprised when those non catholics denounce him and 'push' back.

That's because the vatican doesn't give a crap about jesus; they follow the dictates of paul. He wrote:

1 corinthians 7:9
But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

Those who "contain" (repress) are obviously considered superior.

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Capricorn

You're feeling slightly unconventional and you're looking for activities that will reflect your mood. You certainly won't be very keen on doing things that are drearily predictable or boring, although you'll grit your teeth and get on with them if you have no choice. But ideally you should do things on the spur of the moment, preferably in the company of people who make you feel alive and alert.
