Im 21 years old and my father died when i was 3 i haven never heard from or seen any one on his side of the family since he died then a few years back i was told buy an aunt of mine that he might not have even bean my real dad.. iv spent my entyer life not knowing who he was or why they left me.. i know your real busy and have a lot of people who need help more then me.. i just want to find my family and some one who will love me for me.. plz i beg you help me find them

after discovering that we all have the same time in this world despite which part of the world we are, i have decided to ask Ophra how she managed to use her time to be where she is. she is my role model. iam working at being somebody in life and her help will be highly appreciated.how can i use my time productively? please assist.

Dear Oprah,

My best friend is in terrible throes of anguish over life and it is from molestation in his earlier years. Both by his mother and a camp counselor. He has all the issues you just listed on your 4/11/2010 show. I need help in finding him corrective help or have you give my some information that will help him. He is a bit suicidal but I keep talking with him via phone and giving him whatever I can to help but he is alone and has carried such anger over the issues that he has no longer any friends. He lives on the East Coast in Norwalk Conn and I don't know where /how to find good help for him. We are both 63 years old and we were neighbors growning up in the country and are as close as brothers. I suppose urgency of this does not reach you for weeks.

Anyhow it was good to see the subject aired and I hope I can catch it tonight for further information.

Dear Ms. Winfrey: I am writing to you to ask for help for my brother and sister in law. My sister in law, Cheryl Joyce, has recently been diagnosed with end stage renal failure. this came from a medication she was prescribed that reacted to another medicine that the doctor had given her on the same day. She was in the hospital for about 2 months and we were not sure she was going to make it. She has been on dialysis for 4 months now (3 times a week) and is on a kidney wait list. She has had to have several surgeries for a fistula that will not work. The day that she was admitted to the hospital, my brother, Dwayne was laid off from his job (he had worked at for 16 or so years). My brother has had seizures since he was 2 years old (he and Cheryl are now in their 40's). My brother's unemployment will run out soon and it is very difficult to look for a job when he has to take Cheryl to doctor appointments and dialysis 3 times a week. They just bought my parents home last year before all of this happened.(Both our parents died with 2 years of each other). I do not want to see them lose their home. We help out as much as we can and my parents church have helped. The kidney foundation is trying to help also. My brother and his wife are hard working church going people. If you could help in any way, it would be a blessing. I am afraid of what is going to happen to them. Thank you

Dear Opra,

I want to thank you for the upcomming episode where you get major celebraties involved to save peoples homes from forclosure.It is to late for me but telling my story might but a real face on the opportunities facing a large majority facing americans today.It all started in April of 08 when I was diagnoised with type 2 Diabeaties.I also started having problems walking.In Oct of 08 it got so severe that I chose back surgery which did not work.On Oct 29th I had my first surgery,in Nov four days after my surgery I contracted MRSA while in the hospital which put me in the hospital for almost a full month,having to have plastic surgery to correct the damage to my face because of the MRSA. In feb 09 I had my second back surgery to put a cage into my back to relieve the severe back pain and leg pain.I went back to work in July of 09 only to be put back in the hospital with a Diabeatic sezure and had to also have my Gal Bladder removed after a bout with Pancreitisis.With all of this happening,I eventually lost my job,insurance and my home.People to often neglect their health for the sake of their job and this is the effect of such a decision.I will be 50 in Oct only to sit here with nothing to show for all the years of work,no income,no Health Ins and having to depend on the generousity of friends for a place to live.Thank you for airing the episode and helping some of the families out there devastated by this economy.

Are you serious? Do you think you are the only one? What makes you so special. Be happy for the life you have lived and shut your mouth! There are a lot of people...children... who never make it to 69.

On Saturday May 29th at 1 PM, there will be a memorial service for the late Henretta Lacks-the main person in the book "The Immortal Life of Henretta Lacks" that was on your book club list at St. Matthew Baptist Church in Clover VA. I know you may not be able to come but this is the church of which I am a member would find it an honor if you were able to be represented in any way. It was noted that you plan to do a HBO movie on her so hopefully at that time we can assist you in any way. Her church family would be honored if you represent in any way you feel appropriate. Morehouse University is donating a head stone and another organization is donating one as well. If you have any questions you can review the local paper "The Halifax Gazette Virginia". Thank you for bringing this wonderful story to a small town in Clover. Good things do come from a small town.
