Too bad she didn't quit.I guess Woody is due for a major flop though. He's guarenteed himself one by casting old BOP Kidman.

well joker, it's like this - she DESPERATELY needs the money!!... No seriously, if I was that wealthy, and was driven to keep on working, i think i'd probably do charity work or volunteer at something. but I guess ego kicks in for celebs, and the 'work' is like a drug. or should i say, the fame, attention, pampering, paps, fans, lurks & perks, and more attention, attention, attention is like a drug.
This is off topic, but i need to get a few things off my chest.....things in the kidman urban household just don't add up. it's an amalgamation of a lot of things, and it goes back well before they even got married. i think 'our nic' must have been pretty damaged all those years married to T.C. and BTW, wasn't he supposed to be sterile?(read 'homosexual') isn't that why the marriage with mimi rogers fizzled? and 'our nic' and tom supposedly have one miscarriage early on in the marriage, and they immediately adopt. wouldn't you think that they'd have at least 1 more try before adopting?
i think the 'miscarriage' at the end of the marriage may well have been a miscarriage, but not toms baby. hence the seperation and divorce. i read just recently (researching, trying to put 2 & 2 together) that they had a 2ND wedding!!! cruise on a yacht with all their friends, just 2 weeks before their very surprising split, to declare their UNDYING LOVE for each other. very very strange!!! i'll get to 'our nic' now.....i need to make at least SOME sense of this very straaannge union with keith.

do you think that 'our nic' really did carry that child? or do you think, like me, that she paid a surrogate, so her 'beautiful svelte' body wouldn't be taxed by actually going through the process of producing a babe. lets face it, she looked like she LOST weight, rather than gain, during that pregnancy.
well, if she DID pay a surrogate, they must have been fairly interbred hillbillies (IMO) cos that kid looks really strange to me. she's got dead eyes, and is quite plain - butt ugly, actually. but then, considering that both 'our nic' AND keith have had some sort of 'interventions' in the facial area, its hard to expect her to look ONE ATOM like either of them in their present states.('our nic' really was quite pretty way back before all the 'interventions') i've only seen 1 pic of keith actually carrying sunday, and 'our nic' carried her (when she was a new born) in an oddly protective sort of way - always supporting her little head in a spread out hand, clutching her really closely, and constantly kissing her (like she needed all the protection that the lioness could muster). it never looked natural, it looked 'acted', and i always thought that once the paps had finished with their pics, the ice queen would just hand her over to the nanny. like the pics of 'our nic' when she was (supposedly) pregnant. in just about EVERY pic, she would clasp her arm(s) around that miserable little bump she had, showing off the rounded belly - it looked odd, and it looked very childish.(have a look at any pregnancy pic, and you'll see. it's almost as if she's saying,'look! i really AM having a baby! look at my bump!' THAT sort of carry-on is really embarrassing; it was as though she was an excited young teenager, not a (supposedly) dignified mature woman.

look, i'm back! i haven't finished. the vitriol and venom is still spilling forth; i can't help it. i just want to know really, if i'm quite disturbed, or do you feel the same about this woman, and her odd antics, as i do?
why does she choose partners that are really quite short...well i know that ANYONE would look short next to her, but she COULD have settled for men who were at least 6' tall. there are a lot around!
i saw the film 'australia' on dvd the other day; i found it to be just as i thought it would be. it really caused me a massive cultural cringe attack, but i do have to say 'thank God for hugh jackman'. he's a fine actor (IMO), but more importantly, he was (just a smidge!) taller than her...it looked...well...refreshingly normal. at least he didn't look like her little boy.
which reminds me, her current husband, the 'little boy', keith urban, seems to be quite happy to settle into the 'mr kidman' role - yes, even HE knows that 'it's all about HER'. and whatever happened to that paris hilton wannabe that had a bit of a 'thing' with him not long before he married 'our nic'. funny, a divorced woman, marrying as the traditional white virgin bride, in the CATHOLIC curch, hmmm..... it's AMAZING what one can achieve when one has got clout!(when i remarried,i wasn't permitted to marry in the catholic church because i 'had been married before'. but still, times change, and new ways come along - THAT incident was about 20 years ago.

I agree with you Deeley. I don't beleive for a second that stick bug of a "woman" was ever actually preganant. I don't know if she used a surrogate or just went and bought a baby. Nic was an ugly kid but Keith was very cute in the pictures I've seen. Maybe she borrowed her sister's eggs since the baby looks way too big for her age she could have freakishly tall Kidman genes but not from Old Nic. Everything about that so called pregnancy seemed off to me. And Kidman was no better at acting pregnant than she is at acting in movies. She's not very convincing as a mother either.The kid looks like she's trying to squirm away form her and find someone she knows like the nanny that is raising her.She probably only sees Kidman when she hasa photo-op scheduled.I read that Kidman used to do that with the two adopted kids when they were little. Have the nanny dress them up abd put them in the stroller while Kidman called the paps.Then she would walk outside pushing the stroller playing Mommy until the paps were done then shove the stroller to the nanny and go back inside to ignore them until they were needed again. I think poor little Sunday Roast is going to be raised the same way.

yes joker, poor little sunday roast. an odd looking kid with an odd name. i'm really peeved that she was born in nashville, too. i don't really know why - naybe it's happened this way because 'our nic'(and keith) don't get very good support here.i think its a shame for 'our nics' and keiths families, that they didn't have them near for the big event, but 'that showbiz'. i don't think many people really like her. is she popular over there? it looks like little sunday rose is going to grow up with a southern american drawl. nic will see to that! i just hope the kid doesn't become an actor; we'll have ANOTHER generation of all the rot.
i didn't know that she was that disinterested in the other two, and although i think 'the cruiser' is one sick cookie, i'm happy that they ARE with him and katie - at least they'd get some recognition and love. hopefully 'our nic' will retire soon, and there will be some peace on earth. did you see 'australia'? it really gives australian acting (and the country australia, a bad name)(IMO) i think if it hadn't been so built up with all the advertising hype, before its release, it probably would have done O.K. at the box office and in revues - like 'slumdog', which was a delightful surprise. with 'australia. we were all tired of it before its release.

No I didn't see it. I never pay to see anything that she's in because I know she will ruin it. She is a horrible actress. She's not popular over here either. She has the fans on NKU and that's about it. I don't personally know anyone who likes her. I love Hugh Jackman and would have liked to see Australia if she wasn't in it. Keith is very popular here but he's lost a lot of his fans due to her. He's changed since she came along.I still love his music but I do think he was better before she came along. The music's not quite the same. I guess she scared his muse away.
