Who the hell is Easy E?
And, why in the world would ANYONE call themself that?

That was a dumb mistake to make. No way would Easy E's shorty be driving through East Texas in a car. He'd be flying in EE's private jet, of course.

I played golf with Easy E Jr. at the country club yesterday, so I know he wasn't in Texas.

Apparently there are no surviving eyewitnesses to the accident. When the Texas cops came on the scene and saw two of the eight dead people had IDs from Compton, they just assumed it was a rapper or someone related to a rapper. Easy E, Ice Cube, Tupac, Pitbull, Bushwick Bill, one of those guys.

Thank goodness L'il Easy E is alive, to carry on the good name of the Easy E dynasty.

If Easy E II signed the rental agreement and then allowed other people to drive the car, that could be a problem for him.

Did they pay for the extra coverage at the time it was rented? If not EE2 is looking at millions of dollars in liability.

Maybe someone stole Junior's driver's license and credit card and used it to rent a car? That might get him off the hook.

You have to be 25 to rent a car. For the people in the Malibu, one was 25, the others were younger. How old was Lil Easy E, was he helping the younger folks circumvent the rules.

Where was the car rented, in Texas or Compton.

I do not expect the Press-Telegram to answer any of these questions or dig into the case, even though the protagonists are from Long Beach and Compton. I am not naive.

In the old days, the PT and the LAT would have reporters and their own photographers on the ground in Texas. Those days are gone.

The car was listed to Eric Wright and Curtis Sanders as backup driver from the rental company. The place the accident occurred has had 19 previous deaths with triple the number of wrecks in the same spot of the accident. There is nothing further to invesigate as far as to the car. Period.

As to Nate Higgers: Actually, He is on tour in the United States after just returning from an Australian tour. His net worth per year, is well above 75,000. Yes, he knows a country club as he does charity work every Christmas for one.

The other vehicle involved was a mother and 3 children. 8 people were loss by burning to their deaths in this accident.

Thank you for the update, please provide more facts as they become available.

I looked at google maps for Annona. Hwy 82 makes a gentle curve just west of town. Considering the rest of the highway is arrow-straight, the curve would come as a surprise to an outsider driving through the area.

The Malibu was rented in Tulsa. The accident site is quite far away, altho Annona is near the Red River which is the border between Oklahoma and Texas.

I was disappointed in Lil Eazy E's Twitter postings. He seems more concerned about himself (and the incorrect reports of his death) than he does about the eight deaths.

Also, he has a MySpace account? That is sooo 2004!

I did not see a tour schedule listed. If he was not in Tulsa at the time the car was rented under his name, that could be a problem.

Eazy Senior had seven children by six women before he died of the AIDS in 1995. Why does this child get to use the handle Lil Eazy E. Presumably the name has some economic value that should be shared with the other children and baby mamas.
