Why shouldn't Mittens'(lukewarm) supporters likewise flip flop?

The xstain mullah's pre endorsement diatribe will make a fine third party ad to use in fundie talibangelical parts of the country.

It is sad to realize that Southern Baptists are not Christians either; because they are damned by their own theology.

It's not about what or whom is best to serve as president or what is best for our nation; it's all about which leaders religious nuts think can best make us all start goose stepping.

Just what the country needs-a member of a cult founded by a twice convicted criminal. No surprise that baptist fundietards would support this moron!

You're an awfully brazen liar for such a "religious" advocate.

The posts here aren't about religious people. They're about the extreme and bigoted subset within religion, specifically within Christianity.

And let's be clear, Jethro: No one said that either Christians or the sick subset of fundie mullahs can't marry, adopt, serve openly, be protected from arbitrary firing....

We know who the haters are.

I don't accept that those posts have to do with Christianity or with religion.

You are too uneducated, bigoted and insane to grasp the concept of "subset," as in the disturbed, uber "religious" haters found within all three Abrahamic religions.

So to you an attack on Fatwass Pat Robertson becomes an attack on all of religious belief, or on all of Christianity.

That is not true. You mongoloid.

For the third time, retardate?

Okay.

An attack on Fatwass Pat Robertson is hardly an attack on religion or on Christianity.

There, that was something you didn't know and remain to stooopit to grasp.

Maybe you angry people should try to use less generalization, when trying to impress the few people reading your posts with your intelligence.

They're doing themselves in. Christianity will be looked upon as open to whatever type of idealogy certain so-called Christians "want" to acknowledge. I do know that the Black, Southern Baptists have called them out and reminded them of their lack-luster support of MLK and the civil rights movement and that they're doing it again.

This is one of the reasons I am not a member of any type of organized religion. Hypocrisy seems to be the main suit and instead of bringing people together, they divide people. Finally, these so-called Christians can be seen for what they really are, racist hypocrites.

They earned the disdain and contempt they're receiving. Might I also remind you, politics aside, that the bible says you will know false prophets and apostate faiths by their deeds. The Mormon faith has never been accepted by traditional Christianity, no more than the Muslim faith has. However, the Muslim faith is nearly as old as Christianity itself and is one of the three or four major faiths in this world. These so-called southern baptists and Christian fundies infested black baptist and other denominational churches with spurious claims in the first election that Obama was the anti-christ! Now, they're backing a man who belongs to a faith that they know for a fact is an apostate faith, meaning "man made." It has no foundation nor teachings in Christianity and is a mere few hundred years old. It has practices and teachings that are opposite of what Christian doctrine states in the bible and even what's followed by Jews and Muslims in the OT and Koran.

So don't get up on your high horse and complain that people are attacking religion. They've brought the condemnation down upon themselves by their blatant hypocrisy and you can bet your sweet bippy they're going to pay a price for it. The young are already falling away from the church and acts like what these so-called Christians have done only will cause more to fall away.

It's good of you to remind Mr_Bill of the strong Black Southern Baptist congregations, implying the disastrous affect of avowed atheistic, perverse sexuality supporting people like him on the perceptions of those same churches. The inherent racial overtones of supporting everything the Black churches oppose is significant.

As to the first posters and their anti-religion stances displayed here and elsewhere on Topix, defending them won't win their support, when push comes to shove and they perceive your obvious religious understandings and commitment. People will ally themselves with elements not necessarily reflecting their own deeply held beliefs. This is true for Christians supporting Romney in Robertson's case, or for Christians supporting obvious anti-Christs in yours. Since traditional Southern Baptists embrace extremely distorted interpretation of Scripture concerning Blacks, it might be closer to Mormon traditional beliefs than one would like. Both have altered their stances and both believe in the Grace of our Lord. The glass is half full.

Believe what you like, but religion will play a role in this election and it's not going to play out the way Republicans hoped it would. They're further splintering the nation, now by religion. I guess they'd rather religion than race, huh?

I respected your post and you, except for you defending obvious anti-Christs simply because they are inclined to vote the way you've chosen.

Some Christians accepting on some level an established religion not specifically their own doesn't sound divisive.

Is a relationship getting dull and predictable? If so, it's time to inject some spontaneity into it, preferably by doing things on the spur of the moment and taking a few risks. Maybe you should go out for a meal for a change. There could also be a surprise in store when you realize you're attracted to someone who's totally different from your usual type.
