Complaints about voter IDs, ballots, long lines in US election

Full story: Reuters

Sporadic complaints about voting procedures surfaced from Pennsylvania to Florida on Tuesday, while long lines in many states posed their own challenges in what could be one of the closest presidential elections in U.S. history.

I vote is a small precinct, but there were lines most of the morning. Some one is getting a landslide. There is a lot of unemployment around here so I doubt it is Obama in this town. There aren't that many Democrats in Will county.

Obama's first election was won by him kicking everyone off the ballot. Even the incumbent. Obama is that much of a Low Life.

Nothing has changed. Obama still is Pure Filth and would pimp his grandmother out for a vote.

It's time to get rid of such a Divisive POS like Obama and inaugurate a proven Bi-partisan Leader in Mitt Romney.

He's FOR America while Obama is FOR HIMSELF.

Just think, Obama actually equates voting to REVENGE! What Filth!

The president had a unique opportunity to focus on overarching issues of importance to whites and blacks. He has failed to address the critical challenges. He has not used his bully pulpit to emphasize the importance of racial unity and the common interest of poor whites and blacks who need training, job opportunities, and the possibility of realizing the American Dream. He hasn't done enough to address youth unemployment—which in the white community is 23.2% and in the black community is 39.9%.

Mr. Obama has also cynically divided the country on class lines. He has taken to playing the populist card time and time again. He bashes Wall Street and insurance companies whenever convenient to advance his programs, yet he has been eager to accept campaign contributions and negotiate with these very same banks and corporations behind closed doors in order to advance his political agenda.

Finally, President Obama also exacerbated partisan division, and he has made it clear that he intends to demonize the Republicans and former President George W. Bush in the fall campaign. In April, the Democratic National Committee released a video in which the president directly addressed his divide-and-conquer campaign strategy, with an appeal to: "young people, African-Americans, Latinos, and women who powered our victory in 2008 [to] stand together once again."

President Obama's divisive approach to governance has weakened us as a people and paralyzed our political culture. Meanwhile, the Republican leadership has failed to put forth an agenda that is more positive, unifying or inclusive. We are stronger when we debate issues and purpose, and we are all weaker when we divide by race and class. We will pay a price for this type of politics.

Idiot Obama’s still trying to fire up the base when he ought to be wooing the center and speaking their calm centrist talk. His crowds haven’t been big. His people have struggled to fill various venues. This must hurt the president after the trememdous, stupendous crowds of ’08.“Voting’s the best revenge”—revenge against who, and for what? This is not a man who feels himself on the verge of a grand victory. His campaign doesn’t seem president-sized. It is small and sad and lost, driven by formidable will and zero joy.

I suspect both Romney and Obama have a sense of what’s coming, and it’s part of why Romney looks so peaceful and Obama so roiled.

Same here. I never before had to wait in line. This time I waited for twenty minutes to cast my vote. Not an obot in site either. It's looking good for Mitt.

Flash: MORE GOOD NEWS……INITIAL NUMBERS FROM HAMILTON AND BUTLER COUNTY OHIO………both counties are performing at 2010 and exceeding 2004 numbers that went to Bush, obama’s numbers are down by thousands of votes that were projected by a lying MSM using the 2008 model that all knew was unrealistic.

Stephanie Cutter, liberal hack, is telling liberals don't be too shook up by early exit polls.........

I guess she means they will really get shook, when the working people get off work and vote against redistribution of their wealth.

I waited in the cold, windy, rain for about 20 minutes before the line got indoors...I wouldn't do it for just anybody, but for the chance to vote against obama, it was worth the wait.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Aquarius

You're very feisty and energetic and there's a lot you want to achieve. You'll get rather impatient if anyone stands in your way. A close emotional relationship will either be sexy and exciting beyond belief, or bad-tempered and tetchy. If you're in a grumpy mood, try to work out why - and what would improve matters. One thing that's bound to help is physical exercise, because it will burn off any excess nervous energy.
