Paul no punches

Full story: New York Post

"It's good to be here in Canton - or, as Joe Biden would say, 'It's good to be here in Nevada,' " he said, zinging the bumbling Biden for mistaking Virginia for North Carolina earlier this week.

In the last full month of the Bush presidency, the national unemployment rate was 7.1 percent. That was the highest national rate during his eight years in office. Twice in 2003 it reached 6.5 percent.

“Blame Bush” is already tired; it will sound nonsensical if the unemployment rate is higher for the entirety of Obama’s presidency than it was at any point under Bush.

Guys, we have a situation here. Seems our guy, Wry-an, asked for stimulus money, then denied it. Now he admits requesting it, but says he didn't remember asking for it. It looks like Wry-an might be a bigger flip-flopper than Bishop Rmoney. We have to continue our attack on Biden and hope no one is paying attention.

I though that was a funny and good line. Poor Biden, the laughing stock of the democrat party. He's been sidelined and they have nothing left but their most recent ridiculous offer of, Ok just give us FIVE years of tax returns and we'll shut up. Pathetic, they have lost total control and have sunk so low as to offer Chicago mob like offers. Never have I ever been so thankful that I have the good sense to NOT be a democrat! This whole thing is sinking into one giant embarrassment. What next? An offer Romney can't refuse?

Politics need to come full circle. For that is all there is left. Repubs need to insult and demean everything about the Dem and his/her family. Accuse and laugh at full throttle. They will get more votes for it.Just like the progressive dems have been doing. And get the massive false vote yhat progressives have enjoyed for decades also. So many close elections lost because no one asked questions with authority. if they do not answer, then they lie. And the lies have destroyed many people. When the Repubs win, slow down the money and resourcesz to progressive strongholds.?Who cares anymore. The working class taxpayer want what is his/her. Like African
Americans said some decades ago, its our turn. We have no choice.

bush did a great job of keep the official unemployment figures low. I suppose the threat of being fired kept most labor department officials reporting low unemployment figures. Of course it took a lot of work to twist the numbers from 40% unemployment to under 7%. They had to be real creative to make the changes necessary to ignore so many people. But a closer look reveals how they did it.

First look at the labor dept report showing how many people actually exist in demographics where they should be working. Then look at how many people actually work. bush pushed that number to almost 50%. Now it has dropped to the low 40%. Obama reduced unemployment by almost 10%, yet you want to say it's worse based on obviously phony ginned up figures from people who would get fired if they reported the truth? I suppose that makes you a republican.

If you want more evidence unemployment is way high, look at how many people don't earn enough money on their own to buy food, shelter, health care and pay taxes. Of course one of the favorite mantras of the GOP is that 47% of people don't pay federal income tax. But they never mention they don't pay income tax because they don't make enough money. If you don't make at least that much, you don't really have a job.

Now if you want to talk about what is necessary to get enough jobs for 47% of the people to have good honest work, we could have a conversation.

Don Joe - You are simply nuts. Another liberal progressive who spends why to much time on the leftist blogs and falls for every conspiracy theory thrown out by them. Sorry, but not one thing you wrote has any basic in facts. Pathetic loser. Liberals really are not the sharpest knives in the drawer.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Virgo

Keep a pinch of salt handy today because not everything you hear will be the gospel truth. Someone might have manipulated the facts to make them sound more acceptable, or they may have got carried away and forgotten to tell you something rather vital. Try to keep misunderstandings to a minimum by being as straightforward and honest as possible, and by not simply assuming that people know what you're talking about and therefore not bothering to explain properly.
