Yep, executives earn more but they exist in fewer numbers than the minimum wage worker so that tidbit doesn't compute and is meaningless to the overall economy. When anyone could buy a 6 pack of coke for 25 cents, what was the minimum wage ? Was was the price of gasoline per gallon in the 50's ? Minimum wage ? Prices always and always will increase to the available money supply and in the U.S. there is an amble supply of fiat money.

If a company is big enough to employ 10 office workers, the normal ratio for a large company to office workers would be over 100 to 300 hourly wage employees to one office worker (if the business is to remain in business, it has to be realistic in office compensation). Yea, an office worker may earn 10 to 20% more than someone in the field but not in the same earning capacity as the CEO.
