Funny how the tea-baggers swore they had such great numbers back in 2010 as they won the House when most people don’t vote in off-year/mid-term elections. They were all over the place thumping their chest as if they were going to turn Washington into a backwoods Klan shack after they impeach Obama and put God back in Government…

A year later and after a whole lot of tea-bagging one another as they did their best to hurt the nation with a credit downgrade and no jobs bill passed out of the House, the right-wingers find themselves alienated as President Obama is positioned to be re-elected with Nancy Pelosi poised to regain her Speakership.

LOL, useful idiots was all the tea-baggers were to the GOP establishment, as now they will be forced to vote for a liberal RINO who hates their guts… GAME, SET, MATCH!

2012 pits Obama against one of four white men. If the Tea Party were racist, then they'd be out in force, right?

LOL

Keep ranting away. Like Obama you end up chewing your own soles.

Right now, the four are pitted against each other and the teaparty is holding back their enthusiasm for the inevitable victory of Romneycare and Mormon leadership.

In 2010, the Tea Party sounded like a good answer to our problems -- to some. Now, after much actual experience with their style of non-governance, it appears that many have come to realize their grievous error. Many solid Republicans have been put off by the wildly irresponsible posturing that led to a first-ever credit downgrade -- not to mention that most in the Tea Party were clamoring for VOLUNTARY DEFAULT.

When the Party of Fiscal Responsibility is enamored with VOLUNTARY DEFAULT on the full faith and credit of the United States -- they lost a great deal of support. "Their" presidential candidates (Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry) were fatally dimwitted, and some of their 2010 candidates (Sharron Angle, Christine "I am not a witch" O'Donnell) made Bachmann and Perry look scholarly by comparison.

The Tea Party still has supporters, of course -- but their bubble has burst. It was full of flatulence and ego anyway.

The Tea Party has discovered that government was created to protect itself. The little kingdoms that installed BHO may have thought that he would play the symbolic game keeping all of the regulars happy.
Nancy and Harry failed to ask if he worked well with others. The nation has the answer.
He doesn't work well with others, and if he doesn't get his way, he will throw a fit.
When he turns on an industry or individual, logic goes out the window. He feeds on revenge.

Their purpose was to get out the vote, not particularly to support just any candidate. The helped elect 64 new Congressmen, and 8 Senators. That is pretty good. They will be better organized this time. And they have more money

The Christsharian, right wing bigots will have a choice between a spastic appearing Mormon and a person of color who is left of center.

Many will stay home.

The non fundie Republicans and Independents could be a problem for Democrats, though. They might find Romney acceptable enough.

There never was really a Tea Bagger Party. There was a Koch Brothers funded astro turf campaign to get these clueless right wingers to unwittingly advocate for the decimation of their own social safety net.

All those Tea Bagger people are just back in the right wing of the Republican campaign, driving Romney further and further from the center.

An honest evaluation of yourself. This is a good first step but you will need outside help. You are WAY too arrogant and deluded to fix yourself on your own.

Much of what you wrote is rhetoric. But the truth is we the people do not have the courage to dump the federal reserve for something new and controlled by the people. The downgrade is on itself with a healthy dose of help from the politicians. We are in decline. No amount of lies will deter the truth. The amount of social security recipients and medicare recipients will double within a decade and a half or so. More and more homes will be left empty and prices will drop big time in real terms even if high inflation keeps prices from looking catastrophic. Common sense is not used on domestic spending. The corruption and thievery and party politics is still running full speed ahead. The people whose meager wealth have been cut in half or so the last four years would be fools to vote in the Dems again. They did nothing to help the working class who played by the rules and paid/pays the bills. Many of them who voted Dem in 2008 will vote Repub in 2012. The red states will all be that color this time and enough of the close race states will tilt Repub to give the GOP the presidency.
