I think Hillary should be a good write-in candidate.

Implying that McCain could make abortions "illegal" as you said, makes you the one who has much to learn. Tell me, when did you graduate law school? Just curious.
That's none of your business, so you can remain curious.
I'll put it very simply for you. McCain has pledged to stack the Supreme Court with more conservatives. Almost certainly, they would overturn Roe v Wade. That would result in many states making abortions illegal.

Fair enough.
Overturning Roe v Wade - McCain has flip-flopped so many times on this, if he were to win, I'm not sure where he'd end up. Personally, I believe overturning Roe v Wade would turn abortions back to the butchers.
Promoting adoption - There's no controversy here. Virtually everyone supports adoption. Remember, most who are "pro-abortion" should be more correctly labelled, "pro legalized abortion." It's not that they like abortion. They just know that illegal abortions are much more savage.
Protecting marriage - By that I assume you mean McCain (and you) are opposed to gay marriage. My own feeling is that marriage between gay people does nothing to threaten marriage. Things are changing. It's good to be open-minded. Everyone should have a chance to be happy.
as a Pro-choice supporter...OF COURSE we want adoption over abortion...HOWEVER...for me it goes deeper than that for me..personally.

See, I DO believe in God and we have the free agency to do what we want. We have consequences for those actions. God HATES abortion just like he hates ALL SIN. His hands are tied, he cannot force us to do the right thing. He must allow us to express our free agency and learn by our decisions, right or wrong. I think for us to be more like our Heavenly Father, we must also understand his reasoning..or at least try...it is the attitude and understanding that he has on these issues that help me understand them better.

If God were to control us and force us to make the right decisions, he would cease to be God as he is incapable of forcing mankind to do what is right.

So women SHOULD have every chance to decide what they want for their body...I don't have to agree with their choice, but it is just that, it is her choice and I prefer she has a D&C rather than a broom or a hangar in an alley. We cannot force people to DO what is right, that is counter to God's desires to provide us with the free agency to make these decisions for ourselves and improve upon ourselves.

It is for THIS REASON, that I am against the marriage issue in California. I feel that by making it a law between husband and wife, we are forcing "what is right" on people who are not even religious. We are taking away people's free agency to make their own decisions. We are in essence taking God out of the equation by trying to put him IN the Equation. I am for happiness and I feel that people need to decide for themselves what makes them happiest. God does not agree with homosexuality (the act) but he loves ALL of us equally...and we have our free agency to choose what we want. Gay marriage may not be ok to you or me, but like God, if we FORCE people to do what is right, there are major issues with that. People lose their free agency and they are forced to follow the rules and regulations of churches they do not even follow, that is a problem. I understand my faith and others wanting to maintain heterosexual marriages as the ONLY marriages, but in so doing, they challenge their own beliefs in how we gained free agency from the beginning..especially within the LDS Church who believes that we followed Christ due to his plan that GAVE us free agency and that Satan offered FORCED obedience...

this would represent the same forced obedience!

You you don't believe Bill or Hillary Clinton, despite the fact that Obama's policies are very close to Hillary's and despite the fact that both Clintons are campaigning for Obama and asking their supporters to work for Obama's election?
See, I just don't think that there are very many REAL Clinton supporters who are going McCain, because he is just the total opposite of Clinton on too many issues. If they really believed in what EITHER Clinton worked for, they would never consider voting for McCain. Anything else makes a mockery of Hillary's valient effort, and her work in the Senate.
If you respect Hillary Clinton, you will vote for Barack Obama. There is no other REAL choice.
What Obama supporters fail to understand is that it is about integrity and character. Sure, Obama says some things with which I agree, but in my opinion he is the most dishonest politician of my lifetime. And, it doesn't help that he attended a racist black liberation theology church for 20 years, and considered its racist pastor to be his "mentor and spiritual adviser." Racism is a deal breaker for me.

I am saying that the rightwingers have been responsible for the subjugation of women since the freaking Pilgrims landed, and women who are stupid enough to support them had better get used to slavery, because that is where they will end up if the neocons win.

I had the pleasure of watching Bill Clinton's speech and for the first time felt myself being pulled back to vote for the Democratic nominee. I myself, was a Mike Huckabee fan and even like Bill Richardson, but after the primaries I was contemplating of not even voting. After all, I didn't want four more years of Bush Policies and Politics, but wasn't going to vote for someone that had muslim ties and lacked American values. Until now, I have researched Barak Obama and found that there are no ties and his dad was from Kenya, his mom (white) from Kansas. He went to Harvard, had hard times like the rest of Americans and went to work as a community acitivist downtown Chicago when he could have went to work at any law firm b/c he was editor of the Harvard Review. Bottom line, Obama has been portrayed as someone that is out of touch with us, but he is more in tune with the need for needed change, rather than Mccain that doesn't know how many houses he owns and supported Bush on more than 90% of the time. Then only thing Mccain had going for him is that he is a veteran like myself, and I will always have respect for him for that, but I can't support his views, ideals, policies, and politics that only promise more of the same. I have a family to look out for and if we continue with the increasing costs of healthcare, the increasing deficit (which is being handled by China), the continuance of Mccain assisting companies, like DHL, in moving thousands of jobs overseas. I consider myself an independant, voting once for Bush, then Kerry, the Huckabee, I now say that it is time for change and hope. So, like back before Clinton was elected president, many questioned his young age and inexperience and we experienced tremendous job growth, properity, surpluses, no deficit like today. Given that, I believe we must give Obama the helm and allow him to steer us to the much needed change in direction of our country if we are to succeed in this global society.

I'm pretty much in agreement with much of what you say. But I must confess I get a little nervous when someone "knows" what God wants and does not want. That said, you seem like a thoughtful and good-hearted person.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Virgo

You're feeling restless and need to introduce as much variety into your day as possible. However, you'll want this to be on your own terms, and you certainly won't like it if plans are changed without your consent or you feel you've lost control of the situation. Try to take everything in your stride, otherwise you'll end up feeling exhausted and frazzled.
