Clinton makes strong case for Obama

Full story: www.msnbc.msn.com

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton answered skeptics Tuesday night by issuing a ringing call for her supporters to rally behind Sen. Barack Obama, saying Democrats cannot afford to stay home in November and let another Republican administration ruin the economy.

“Barack Obama is my candidate,” Clinton said in the final speech of the second night of the convention that will nominate Obama for president.

Boy she sure did make a strong case for herself, makes you wonder how many are sitting back now scratching their heads and saying did we pick the wrong canidate? Maybe she can give Michelle some pointers on how to give a speech so the crowd believes what she's saying.
I'm not a Hillary fan but I the vote I cast for her was not for her but a vote against Obama... and I know I'm not the only one. Obama better be calling her now and thanking her becasue she sure made him look good too.

The only thing the Democrats ever unify on is tax increases. Hillary tried to divert attention from this by promising to cut taxes for the middle class while in the same breath promising national healthcare for every American. It'll be the middle class who funds healthcare and Hillary knew she was lying when she claimed tax cuts. Look for higher income taxes, substantially higher death taxes, pension fund taxes, a national sales tax, higher gasoline taxes, higher corporate taxes, and higher cell phone taxes.

Hillary is nothing more than a great motivational speaker, and I think GREAT is an underestimation. But why do canidates never tell us how exactly they will get what they promised done, her nor Obama have yet. Oh, they have a plan sure, but so what.....they have to get the plan through congress and through the people for it to ever get enacted. And unless Hillary and Barack intend to pitch in by SERIOUSLY changing their lifestyle that the rest of us little folk are being asked to do, they won't be getting my vote.

Good! In case you haven't noticed, taxes don't scare people anymore; Bush does.

Can you believe that fool Obama did not choose her. He is not as smart as some think. She knows he is going to lose and is awaiting 2012.

How many average Joe--or should I say,'Goerge'-- presidents will it take for you to realize that having a president that's just like 'the rest of us' is not a good thing? You'll have to excuse my grandiose expectations, but I expect a little more from my president.

I think Clinton made a great inspiring speech. I voted for her. I was a volunteer for her campaign, but above all else I am a democrat and I will remain loyal to my party. Yes, taxes will be increased and I hope people aren't hoping for health care and other promised programs to start in the first term. When Obama takes office I hope he brings rubber boots because he will have to shovel through all the sh*t Bush has left for him to clean up. Taxes have to be increased when our national debt is so high. Oh take me back to the Clinton economy.........

I think you're mistaking us for for the brainwashed, dazed, murky-minded Obamorons. We use common sense and judgement when we make important decisions; We don't obey a cult leader.

Well Im a Democrat 100%. I think Hillary done wonderful job tonight and I'm very proud of her and I hate that she couldn't be our leader. I wish Obama would have chosen her for his running mate.
Will I vote Obama, I don't know? I agree with the lady that was a strong Hillary Fan. He is going to have to step up in the next 2 months. I will NOT vote McCain though.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Virgo

You're feeling restless and need to introduce as much variety into your day as possible. However, you'll want this to be on your own terms, and you certainly won't like it if plans are changed without your consent or you feel you've lost control of the situation. Try to take everything in your stride, otherwise you'll end up feeling exhausted and frazzled.
