Has any church representative pointed out which online information is "misinformation" and which is accurate? That would be helpful; e.g.:

Misinformation:
- Mormons have more than one wife at the same time
- God lives on Kolob
- Mormons baptize dead people
- Joseph Smith was a pedophile
- The Book of Mormon is not historical

Corrected:
- Mormons can have more than one wife, but only in the hereafter
- God lives on a planet near the star Kolob, not on Kolob
- Mormons are baptized as proxies for dead people
- Joseph Smith went through a marriage ceremony with several teen-age girls, one as young as 14, and he said the marriages were commanded by God
- The Book of Mormon is no longer considered history (as it once was), but another testament of Christ

That should clear things up, shouldn't it?

You are allowed to make up any story you wish. You see, it simply doesn't matter. The point is we are allowed to believe anything we wish, you are too. And I would fight for your right to believe in the FSM, if that was your wish. And to live according "to the dictates of your own conscience..." And since my church IS the antithesis to some belief structures out there, we expect some pushback. It's no big deal.
