Amitabh, Mithun to team up again

I think it should be a good one.Just hope that Mithun will not get screwed,just like in Agnipath.

Both actors are legends.Both have their own way of acting.Big B goes public to get his support,while DADA does nothing.

Just hope the movie will be good.

why u said mithun screwed it i dont think so ,u know he act some kind men we saw them in real life pp think they r stupids but they r not and i think actor should act any kinds of rols

Even Amitabh told after Agneepath that Mithun will be remembered for this specific role in Agneepath.Its not so easy potray that role of Krishnam Iyer & only a character actor like Mithun could have done justice to that.His 3 national awards are just a proof of his acting skills which is much higher than a commercial hero like Amitabh.Amitabh has been a pure commercial actor & Superstar whereas Mithun has been a commercial Superstar as well as a very fine actor in Parallel cinema(eg.Mrigaya,Tahader Katha,Ramakrishna,Titli...just a few examples of his superb work).People who havent seen his good films get confused with his B grade films which he did at the fag end of his career which he shouldnt have done,though producers justify those were super hits in rural areas of MP,Bihar,West Bengal & Orissa.

A star like Mithun who has survived the film industry for 33 years & still going strong with his films,TV dance shows is enough testimony to the fact of a very every strong & resolute star who just doesnt seem to quit or die from out hearts.He is truely one of the most evergreen actors in Bollywood.He has seen stardom,superstardom,faliures during his 30+yrs of film career but still has the tenacity to go on & on.He sincerely deserves a lot of respect & adulation from the public.Hats off Mithunda you are a REAL SUPERSTAR!!!!

Mithun Chakraborty is one actor whome Amitabh Bachchan fears sharing the screen space.He had admitted that before & in numerous occassions he had even tried to cut his roles whenever they acted together.Thats the reason Mithun does not share a good relation with him right from his superstardom days.Even once during the 80,s Jaya Bachchan publicly admitted that Mithun is better actor than his husband.But anytime when it comes to acting, Mithun is a much complete actor than Amitabh but Amitabh is a much bigger commercial star anyday.

Amitabh is always ahead of mithun in terms acting - dialogue delivery . Even after 33 years his dialogue hindi pronouncation is still childish.

Mithun is good but never in the same league like Amitji.
What ever the role s - he had enacted and get rewarded it is simply regional-bengali.
But in common platform Amitabh towers above mithun like anything.

Amitabh is undoubtedly the king of commercial cinerma in bollywood but he doesnt have the finesse of a good actor.He has done typical commercial roles before but now he is doing something different,starting with BLACK.Mithun started as a regional bengali actor & in his first film got a national award.From a regional actor he became a dancing star & then to a superstar.All along he has been approached by big art film directors bcoz he is a versatile character actor who can get into any kind of role.He has played a tribal in mrigaya,a freedom fighter in tahader katha,ramakrishna in Ramakrishna & .....tyical road romeo,disco dancer etc in commercial movies.It is really unbelievable!!!Though Amitabh is a bigger commercial star he is nowhere near a Mithun or a Kamal Hassan who have made their mark both in regional cinema & hindi mainstream cinema.

Acting wise Mithun is anyday better than Amitabh because he is a more complete actor who has done all kind of complex roles both in regional cinema & hindi.Amitabh is like SRK,a typical commercial superstar but not a complete actor.

Amitji also received his firts national award as debutant in Saat Hindustani - his very first film.
Amitabh always done diffrenet character like SAUDAGAR, PARWANA, MILI,ABHIMAAN, JURMANA,KABHI KABHI , BEMISAAL, MAIN AZAD HOON.

Dont know why people compare Mithun with Amitabh...Mithun started with Art movies....like Manthan...struggled for long time and got into commercial cinema....i see him as a self made actor...also has a reputation of doing great things for Film related workers in Mumbai..runs a huge union of film workers in Mumbai and takes full responsibility...This i heard from one of the bankers with whom we deal on daily basis...Only problem is that he doesnt blows his own trumpet as others do....

He very much blown his trumphet in bengal. I watched lot of his shows, and notice everywhere he used to praise himself a lot.

Amitabh inspite of a big star requires the help of political pimps like Amar Singh whereas Mithun has always been a self made star & a fighter who has lived bollywood on his own terms.Mithun is not only a better actor but also a better person who has done a lot for society without doing any promotion for that.Thats why he is still respected & revered wherever he goes.Hats off to Mithun da!!!

Mithun dada rules anyday...koi shaque!!Mithunda is not only a bollywood superstar but also multitalented person.He is also a very thriving businessman.He is the owner of Monarch chain of hotels & Safari Park at Ooty,Coimbatore & Mysore.He also owns ICL Bengal franchise,Hwh Football League,Monarch International Schools,Monarch school of Hotel Management etc.Dada even at 60 is minting money through Dance India Dance & Zee Dance Bangla.Truely a very successful achiever & has many feathers to his cap.

You have no idea about his political connection. I stay in Bengal and even I brought up near Mithun's birt area. I know his reputation better than you . He used to be a gunda in his days

Mithun: A paradoxical Phenomenon
India is a very mysterious land and it is also just as varied. You have more than 100 languages and as many racial equivalents. In a land so rich it is absolutely impossible to find any chance of agreement on any single issue.

The query here is who would be crowned the best star actor in this culturally rich diversity. The names that spring to your mind are many. There is Sanjeev Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna, Kamal Hassan, Dilip Kumar and finally Mithun Chakraborty, not to exclude Uttam Kumar the predecessor king of Bengali cinema.

Now no one can deny they need to see how the racial question divides India. The northern Indians have never accepted either Bengali or Southern male stars, whatever the persona or talent. While Hema Malini,`Vyjanti Mala and Sharmila Tagore have ruled the box office, no one other than Mithun from regional cinema has ever made into the top three coveted male star positions, as far as box office is concerned never mind the artistic merits of Pyar Jukhta Nahin and Disco Dancer, they were super hits.

Mithun Chakraborty defies this so called bigotry as he was born of regional cinema and then despite his Bengali accent and looks, became one of the top most star in mainstream Bollywood without having to resort to the charity or support of Yash Chopra or Ramesh Sippy.
