I guess Ward is too afraid to fight for something bigger.....like the meth problem we face or the acoholism or the molesters that get baby pats on the hand in our courts. That Sean Rhodes is about a dud, too.

This reminds me of a cheap remake of Reefer Madness! Frankly, I am not too worried about kids smoking K2 or even pot. I was 25 in the 60's tried a lot of it, enough to know that Ward & Dean are either completely misinformed or complete liars. Ward may have to get new material soon, as the old generations fades out and the hippies are the retirees..

I know PROMINENT business owners, lawyers, teachers, psychiatrists that like to go roll a fatty every now and then!

I wish Ward and that fat guy would use their time and energy better, like on meth! Meth causes many cases of child neglect & abuse & mental instability. People steal for it & sell themselves for it.....but these Keystoners are gonna go after the K2!! Wow.

It must be an easy bill to get passed, so Ward will settle for the little fish......and let our kids keep being at risk of the meth dealers.

Meth is illegal and it sure hasn't stopped anyone from doing it.

I know. It is silly. Why waste energy chasing the K2? Good lord. They DO have better things to do! Maybe they should have chocolate illegalized! After all it produces a "high" and many women claim to be addicted to it! How about coffee? It is a stimulant that makes people cranky when they can't have it or jittery when they have too much! Lol. Or Unisom....take too much and you will trip out. Or Morning Glory, Trumpet Vine....hallucinogen. I smoked K2 one time. It was NOTHING like pot. I would never do it again either. I will stick to the real herb thank you! No one is going to go out high on K2 or pot and drive like a dumbass as a result of it! They will drive like that simply because they ARE already stupid! Lol.

These guys are useless. Meth IS the problem then the abuse of prescription pills, and then maybe the kiddies all huffing for a cheap high.

Meth will rob a person of their morals, standards, families, looks, sanity, logic and soul. Pot or K2 will not. Period. People will steal from their mamas for meth. Kill or hurt when they are spun out on meth., neglect and abuse their kids.....all as a result of being addicted to METH!!!

WARD & SHAWN......GET WITH REALITY. DO SOMETHING REAL!!!!

Since it's not from Big Pharma, it must be bad for you.

Unlike Thalidomide and FenPhen and Vioxx. The ones that got FDA approval and killed or injured folks. FDA, Big Pharma and anti-weed people keep us safe.

Sure. The sensationalists in MO legisLature cant let this pass.

They are unable to solve real problems....so they come up with another means to take something from you. That is easy.

And it worked for KS politicians. Prohibitions dont work in practice, but practicalities dont matter. It's all headlines & chest thumping.

I don't think cannabis can be duplicated in a lab, it's a complex natural process that involves more than one chemical.

I have no interest in smoking fake weed, so really don't care about them banning this crap. I'd rather everyone use the real weed, I've heard no one has ever died on the stuff. Maybe Ward's an old toker of the real stuff and doesn't like the harmful fake imitation stuff. You never know about motives.

I say we ban caffeinated coffee and sugar laced donuts, so the little old church ladies and men at the First Baptist Church (the church that got Franz and Purgason and probably the next Republican in line elected) can't get all stimulated up before Sunday morning services.

“The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government - lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.”

“The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.”

The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground.”

He's all for medicating troubled kids though, through Behavorial Health. He actually perpetuates getting kids hooked on meds....we all know they share them & sell them, too. I just think there are BIGGER problems right now other than K2.

I guess we should all be alchoholics & smoke cigarettes....it's still legal. I can't believe they insinuate someone could get high and kill someone with their car after smoking K2! Sure it could happen, but is not a problem like drunk driving is. I don't believe it impairs one the same way. Where are the statistics and studies that prove this is a real concern? Oh, that's right it is just an assumption! I think if Ward is really concerned about keeping impaired drivers off the road, he should vote to make his district a dry one! Show us how concerned you really are! How about stiffer penalties for meth dealers, too while yer at it.

no kidding...why not just go ahead and ban alcohol. i would much rather meet a person on the road who just smoked weed or K2 rather than someone who's drunk.

the franz family isn't the most honest family. schemes go way back in the family, how do you think they made their fortune? first sing of croookery, they are all masons and rotarians. next, consider that ward ran a BIBLE BOOKSTORE (ultimate sign of crook) on the square that failed, maybe this was a cover to his drug business and he doesn't like for the k2 to cut into his profits.

This Franz guy just doesn't think it is fair to let a business make money when it is taking that money out of his own pockets. Every politician in the world will be against it because they won't profit from it. Really people think about it, when was the last time you seen a politician struggling to make a go of it ?
But what is funny, is that each ingredient in K2 can be bought separately, so what is going to stop people from buying the ingredients and making their own K2?
How are the politicians going to stop that ?

No matter who we vote in, it won't be long until they are just as corrupt as what we presently have. That's just the way it is...always has been and always will be. ALL POLITICIANS ARE CROOKS!!!!!!!

I think Ward & Shawn should show proof and facts, instead of just spouting off at the mouth what they assume could happen. How many 10 year olds really shop at headstores anyway? I think if that was truly happening the problem was there well before K2 hit town and maybe his parents should be checked out.

Anyway, too much government intrusion & that is just un- American.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Pisces

Having to bow down to convention or limitations is enough to make you want to scream right now, and you'll do your utmost to rebel in any way you can. Be careful about this because you could easily get on the wrong side of someone who has power or authority over you. It feels as though you're battling with forces that want to keep you under control, and you don't like it one bit.
