It appears not to be common knowledge that this is not Martin Scorsese's first rock documentary. He was assistant director on the 1969 Woodstock documentary, many years ago, before he ever made a feature film.

This article seems to be more about how the movie was shot than what is in it. It's kind of like reading an article in Car and Driver and having the writer expound on the way the car was built.
