The Stones outlasted the Beatles yes.But how many Rolling Stone Tribute bands are out there. The Beatles were way ahead of the Stones in Popularity but that doesn't mean the Stones were bad. Both bands rocked and helped change rock and roll history just be glad we have both bands because today nobody even comes close to either of The Stones or Beatles.

I like them both, too. Each have their own separate, unique, individual styles. It's difficult to compare the two, just as comparing Elvis to MJ never made sense to me.

Both are great. I didn't like the way that record companies figured this good guys-bad guys thing to increase record sales, but I find them as Sweet Pop Tart said, unique and have each their own style. I have to admit that I do like the Beatles more and the Beatles influenced me a great deal, but this is just a matter of taste. It was good to see you here my friends. God blessed the Rolling Stones and the Beatles.

Let's see who was better The Ruttles or the Rotting Tones? Both bands could be great parody bands.Although the Ruttles seem to have a certain edge that makes them a bit more known .

Exactly... I couldn't or wouldn't have wanted to do without either one.

Add the Kinks to that as well, I reckon.

That reminds me of an earlier question just today... is the world really split between Spaceballs and Galaxy Quest fans?

Absolutely!

I was just thinking of The Who when posting elsewhere, early 1980s Who was on my mind while thinking of that time period.

Yes, and opened the doors, influencing and making so much more possible.

Daily Horoscope for May 19

Leo

This is a good day for concentrating on activities that boost your self-esteem and sense of satisfaction. Do the very best job you can manage, partly for your own sense of pride and partly because it's important for you that bosses and superiors know what you're capable of. There should be good news about a pay rise, perk or a new job that's in the pipeline.
