John may of got stoned and one time when in Spain had a brief fling with Brian I don't know that for a fact.John loved women he had his share before Yoko.Chapman was deranged not a true Beatle fan no need to keep bringing him up we all know he was a loser.Everybody knows Chapman gunned Lennon down because he wanted to be famous like John. I don't know why a fan would want to kill the artist he listens to. Mark David Chapman is a wacko. I really don't care who John Lennon slept with, Bubba. You take unfair shots at Elvis so I rip into The Beatles members. Paul and John but never George and Ringo.

I think you cut Elvis short because a lot of Beatle fans do. The man has a massive catalog of brilliant music, Bubba. Elvis is so misunderstood by the general public at large. But it's because he kept changing as he went on. His best stuff wasn't always the hits, you know. You would have to listen to it from the beginning to the end. I mean, I do like The Beatles and other great rock legends... Elvis was simply too amazing of an artist because he was sublime. I've played him for 35 years and still find it fresh and exciting. That is next to impossible for most artists to do. Elvis will always be the best with me. He's many different artists rolled into one. The man was a genius. Ok Octo yes Elvis was smart to change and not get stuck in A rut.The Bee Gees had to change too just like the Beatles did. Their early stuff was catchy pop tunes but they changed and expiermented to get different sounds. Elvis with an orchestra was good it helped his songs sound fuller. He was sharp until he got sick and pushed himself too hard. I suppose he was just trying to please his fans.I've never been a fan of elvis but he was exciting to watch live I didn't care much for what few movies I saw him in.I think he could of made an action adventure flick ok.Maybe used his martial arts.

"King Creole" (1958) is the only Elvis movie you would have to see. Elvis and the entire cast were excellent in it. It has a great bluesy New Orleans soundtrack also. It kind of gives you an idea what a great actor he could've became. It's in black and white but it was his personal favorite role. I think Elvis could've restarted his movie career in the eighties. I know he wanted to play a bad ass in an action picture. I like those old Charles Bronson action flicks. My wife controls most of the television which is why I'm on here. Women programing, dance shows....not my thing.

The Beatles have outsold Elvis in the UK. That is a fact. Latest data as of June 2012: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a38545... The Beatles are at No.1, Elvis is No.2, Paul McCartney is No.11. John Lennon doesn't even figure in the Top 60.

Yeah I'm surprised that Lennon didn't rank in there somewhere but his radical approach was a bit too much for some. He was political but he could rock. Maybe if he wouldn't of Yoko sing on his albums he would of figured in the ratings. Cliff Richards has done very well.

It is a standard early 60's Elvis film but it is one of his best.

Now they want to make sappy movies about bad Elvis impersonators? It's a joke but there is very little I can do about it. Sony is another complete mess. They went almost gold with "An Afternoon In The Garden" And they turn around and release "A Prince From Another Planet" ?? I already have that stuff plus the excellent bootleg DVD. I would still want to see a blues CD of alternate takes and mixes. I would buy it.

The new Prince set will present the two recorded shows in superior sound quality - both original albums had truly awful sound. As for the footage, be thankful it is being released officially - not everyone has the luxury of having access to it. Like all of the other Elvis albums, the two MSG shows needed to be re-released. Side note - there's a huge billboard of Elvis in Times Square here in New York now. At least 200 x 100 feet - massive. Featuring a pic of Elvis from MSG in '72. Not a single pic of Wacko Jacko in sight!

Prince from another Planet might have killer mix and video might be clear footage-I'm hoping

Not a single pic of Wacko Jacko in sight! How am I being unfair to Sony? It doesn't make sense to sell fans recordings they already have. I bought "Afternoon In The Garden" when it first came out in 1997. The sound is excellent. The evening show was a rushed affair because Elvis was pissed. The NY crowd was very rude to Jackie Kahane. Hardly something I'd buy again since there are other '72 shows... All of them are much better than MSG anyhow. Hearing Elvis do "Reconsider Baby" and "My Babe" Chicago 6-17-72. Now that would be worth hearing on soundboard. Elvis was much warmer and put on a bluesy rock n roll concert. I only have it as an audience recording. He also did The Beatles "Something" I just wish Sony would show a little more imagination with Elvis.

I'd like to see it. Yeah, "Kid Galahad" was always one of my favorites. Elvis has a couple of good lines in that one. It's an Irish boxing movie filmed in the early sixties. Gig Young is in it as well as Charles Bronson.
