Queens boy killed while hitching a ride with bike -

Tragic story, but why was there a message left with Robert Zamekis???? This kid was responsible for HIS own actions. NOT Robert Zamekis. Is someone ELSE always to blame? Oh, yes, I guess mammy and pappy see a lawsuit..... I think back on all the stupid things I did as a kid, things that clearly could have gotten me killed. Ultimately, it was my own stupidity, nobody else's fault.

We are a sue happy, money hungry nation. Keep in mind that a child's brain is still growing even through adolescence. And for the family to sue Robert Zemekis is absolutely wrong they will lose, they are the ones to blame. You cannot control what your kids do when they are out of your sight. I too am a parent and thank god every day that my child has the common sense not to go out a imitate what she sees on t.v. I never did.

this is so sad i already miss him i do not know him and im sad one of my friends know him the scary thing is that i live near that area too his soul rest in peace we will always miss u

elijah was my best friend and we did alot of things together.i'll never forget him.the last time i had a chance to talk to him was two months ago.i really miss him and he was like my brother.when me and my friends found out about the accident,we didn't think it was true.but my friend tamara called his mom and we were shocked when she told us he really died.i'll always love him and miss him.

please don't talk about elijah like dat.u do not have common sense at all.he was just a kid.he was my bestfriend.

I met Elijah over the summer. I remember always hanging out with him. I really did like him. He was a cool person to hang out with. It is sad that he dies a few weeks after I say goodbye to him. I miss him so much. I am praying for his family. I wish this had never happened. R.I.P. Elijah Armon Wrancher.

Back to the future is 22 years old and kids hitching rides on the back of cars trucks and buses date back before that. Put blame where it belongs on the indvidual not on others.

You all need to get your facts straight...unless you were there you do not know what happened. The newspaper REPORTS that Elijah was supposedly inspired by a movie how stupid. The fact that Elijah succumbed to peer pressure and was coaxed to do it is probably closer to the truth. As far as the parents are concerned we both serve our nation one parent in and out of Iraq and the other in Korea while you people have nothing to do but SPECULATE about Elijah's death. Unless you were some exceptionally perect child who was never reprimanded or corrceted by an adult for something wrong or something stupid you have NOTHING to say about Elijah or anyone else's child

I support Elijah's mother. However, we may have to consider Elijah another casualty of Bush's war. Have you all forgotten what this war has done to families?I give Elijah and his family a purple heart. In one way or another they are all fighting for us.
