This is the best show on t.v. and has been for years. I wonder how Mackey is going to get out of this one or if he will?

I am so sad that this show is coming to an end. Hands down, the best show ever.I have been hooked on this show since episode 1 and already have knots in my stomach in anticipation of tonight's show. The beauty of The Shield is that after all of these years, for the life of me I just don't know what to expect in the finale. I am going to miss this show, the writing and the actors who played the hell out of their characters.

I'm gonna miss this once great show, but last season was THE worst and this season was a slight improvement. Hope it ends in the Strike Team all dead or thrown in jail (like the Soprano's should've done)!

The Money Train and Antoinne Mitchell seasons were the best IMO...

It would be so funny if Mackey gets away with everything and retires to the Caribbean.

Seriously though, it's been a long run, and it probably has been played out longer than it should have, but I am definitely looking forward to tonight's finale.

BRAVO to a GREAT show that will be missed. ALL television networks, writers, and producers should take their cues from everyone connected with this show and start making shows that provides constant entertainment to the viewing audience. Although this was a cable network show and could be a lot more aggressive than regular network shows could, it doesn't minimize the fact that if you give us viewers a well written, well produced and well acted show we WILL watch. WAKE UP and take notice all you network producers and stop flooding the airwaves with those stupid reality shows and start producing QUALITY shows again. The Shield was a GEM that will be missed.

I always thought Vic Mackey acted like most cops would if they thought they could get away with it.

They should have ended it with Dutch sitting at home on his couch, and the kid's mothers body sitting next to him. Dutch is a serial killer.... Anyone remember the scene where he killed the cat ?

Well actually numbnuts, most cops are honest hardworking blue collar people who give their lives to protect people, uphold laws, do community service, fight terrorism, and all too many of them DIE in the line of duty. You obviosly have no idea what your talking about, and I would bet that you are a dirt bag who could never be a cop. A savage like you could never arrest a violent criminal, never console a girl who has just been raped, find a missing child or settle a domestic dispute.
So change your comment!! Vic Mackey acts like how you would if you could get away with it. Not cops in general. Dick

I have to agree with Tom's ending , that would have been good. Not happy with Vic Mackay's outcome. I think the lights should have gone out in the building and we had seen a shot in the dark. I loved the shield, but its conclusion sucked compared to all the great ideas the writers have given us over the years . I would have felt much better if Vic had blown his head off with the final predictament he put himself in. Hopefully this doesn't upset anybody because I loved the show , just fell like the Conclusion was very weak , other then he has an office job for three years.

I think they ended the Dutch/serial killer thing when he asked the kid the SoCal 90% serial killer question, and the kid answered, "to be famous" I think they were on the verge of breaking him. Vic goes out like a badass like he is. Packing heat and leaving in a hurry.

Vic put his gun in his waste band. He was going out supercopping.

They took all the bad cops and wrapped them up, dead, in jail or in detention writing 10 page reports single spaced. They took all the good cops and left them alone for the most part.

That ending was wierd though. Were they trying to say with the smirk by Vic at the end that he is and always has been about Vic. Any comments.

I have to agree with Hemified! The ending sucked! Vic should have worked out immunity for Ronnie and then go to prison! Final scene, jail cell, lights out.....

I thought when Vic got out his gun at the end he was going to take out the female FBI agent he was working with for sticking him without his family, not helping Ronnie, and getting him stuck at a desk...

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Scorpio

If something is bothering you, it's important that you say so now, loudly and clearly. It's no good bottling things up any longer because that will only lead to resentment and a slow-burning anger. However, it's important that you know when to shut up too, otherwise you might overstate your case or sound so demanding that you turn others against you.
