Tha most influential saxophonist/musicians since John Coltrane has passed. It's a sad day in the music world. May his legacy live on!

People use the word 'Genius' too often, without perhaps noticing the depth of it's meaning. But when referring to Mike Brecker, it's almost not good enough. He was an inspiration to a whole generation of sax players and other instumentalists with his unique style and incredible technique. He has left a legacy that will continue through future generations. Just as John Coltrane left his unerasable mark on the Jazz world, Brecker has done the same. We all miss you but the many recordings you have made will continue to inspire us.
