This shows you how far out the Democrats have become. It sure wasn*t like this when John Kennedy was President. That was the Democratic Party I grew up with and loved. I have no use for them now.

The problem is that the front running (at this time) republicans are no better than the Democrats.

Rudy and Romney are no better than Hillary and Obama, their lies are just different.

Rudy lived with two homosexuals after leaving his 2nd wife. Romney is the father of homosexual marriage in Massachusetts.

There is info about Romney on my website. My web address can be found on my Topix Profile if you click on my picture over to the left of this post.

If you want to know who is a man worth voting for, so that you do not throw your vote away --Pete Grasso is the man.

I also have an article about him on my site.

He is a true Conservative who has courage.

Homophobia is a sickness... a neurosis, really. A fear of the unknown, like the fear of the dark. Homophobes have never had the pleasure of getting to know a gay person. Someday we may look back on these times as we now look back on times when blacks were considered non-human. Now we stand to have a black president. Sometime in the future we may have an openly gay president... if the USA survives the damage done by the GOP's in the last 7 yrs.

There is no phobia about not liking something. People really need to grow up. We all have a right to not like something and we all have our reasons for what we like and dislike.

My reasons are of the Lord.

Yes, they keep all their gayness hidden in the closet, too bad for them when one gets caught outside.

There has always been a certain % of the human population that's gay. GOP. DEM, catholic, jew, muslem, etc. It would be healthy if we could get past puritanical ignorance and stop being mindlessly homophobic.

Straight but not narrow.

And thus the heathen woman DebraJMSmith has shown herself to be both a false prophet and a hypocrite, for she has deliberately ignored God's word as it appears in the Bible:

"Let a woman learn in silence in full submission. I permit no woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she is to keep silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor." (1 Timothy 2.11-14)

The woman DebraJMSmith exalts herself above the God she claims to follow by picking and choosing to follow only those parts of the Bible which suit her.

Go now, woman, leave this forum and cease trying to instruct men when God commands your silence before them.

For those of us old enough and honest enough would back that statement.

Scripture in the Bible that pertains to a woman being silent:

Scripture needs to be read in context. God teaches His children to study Scripture and to "rightly" divide the Word of truth:

2 Tim 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Jesus instructed His followers to teach 'all' the things that He had commanded them (notice not just men, hence even women):

Matthew 28:20
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Keeping in mind that true Scripture does not contradict, please read this:

King James Version 1 Timothy 2:

11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

First notice the that this is talking singular. It talking one woman and one man and comparing the couple to Adam and Eve. So this is talking between a husband a wife.

Second when read in context the setting is in a church. Hence this is speaking of a husband and wife in church.

A wife was not to usurp authority over THE man (her husband) in church.

This post board is not a church and no one here is my husband.

The church that Paul was speaking to was having trouble with women yelling out in the middle of service, basically they were being told to stop that.

And for the record, there were women ministers spoken of in the Bible. One actually ministered WITH her husband.

The pagan woman DebraJMSmith now exposes herself as a False Prophet through her attempts to falsify and twist God's word to suit her own evil purposes.

She outright lies about "one couple" in 1 Timothy 2 being compared to Adam and Eve, because in fact the entire chapter sets up universal laws for men and women, discussing suitable clothing and adornment for all women (not just wives) before coming to the passage which she herself quotes:

12 But I suffer not a woman to teach ...

In her own Bible, it states "a woman" - meaning women in general, not one woman in specific. Nor does it mention "husbands" and "wives".

She would also have her acolytes believe that the church is a merely a physical building rather than a communion of believers wherever they may gather.

O Lord, drive the Lord of the Filthy Flies out of this deluded female, made susceptible to the manipulations of the Evil One due to her weakened sex! Be silent, DebraJMSmith. Read and follow Proverbs 31, and follow its explicit instructions on how you as woman are to spend your time as a wife.
And get thee behind me!

Good job, Dems!

You keep talking to the DailyKos, unions, gay rights organizations, because you are only helping the Republicans.

The fence-sitters are seeing that they don't want a world were unions have taken over, homosexual marriage is the norm and left-wing nutjobs (Kos) are in your back pocket.

Your radicalism will certainly guarantee a Republican in the White House in 2008.

You are right!

JFK was for tax cuts - he said there was more money to be gained by the government through tax cuts than raising taxes.

By the way, I think people who want to pay more taxes are nutjobs. Who in their right mind gets up one morning and says, "Hey, I would like to give more of my money to the government?" I have never met anyone like that and if I did, I would run real fast, because they are probably part of the nutcase modern Democrat Party!(They hate when you say "Democrat Party" instead of "Democratic Party")

At this point,*nothing* can help the Republicans in 2008. The current administration, itself a model of
radicalism run by right-wing nutjobs, is in disfavor with a public that is by and large, centrist.

The "fence-sitters" you refer to will not be swayed by the scare tactics employed by some Republicans and yourself ... unions will never "take over" and gay marriage will never be "the norm"; such a scenario is impossible.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Leo

This is one of those days when money slips through your fingers in no time at all unless you're very vigilant about your spending habits. Unfortunately, it will be difficult to stop yourself splashing out whenever the fancy takes you, whether or not you can afford it. You're especially drawn to tempting little treats and luxurious indulgences.
