hospital stays should be based upon medical necessity (requiring the skilled care of the hospital staff) . Staying in hospitals should be avoided as much as possible. I am an anesthesia provider. I work with surgical patients daily. In general, patient satisfaction is much higher for outpatient procedures. The hospital environment is not comfortable or restful. Even medical (non surgical)treatment is best managed from the comfort of ones own home.

Thank God there are people like Ms. Cross who are willing to take the time and effort to care about women's issues. God bless those who use their celebrity for such causes.
