Its also reported that COPPOLLA is considering doing a GODFATHER PREQUEL TRILOGY, poten based on the "missing years" of the Corleone scions, espec AL PACINO + wife KAY??? I think Madonna will make an excellent KAY character.

Since going "back to the 1970's" is said to be what Hollywood desires as per the 2008 Elec camapign, espec BARACK VERSUS HILLARY contest, I personally would like to see a Godfather Prequel role for both DUSTIN HOFFMAN + JACK NICHOLSON, perhaps even NICK NOLTE!?

Grandmadonna doesn't have the acting chops required to play Kay Corleone. Besides, she's too hard, too manish, too much of a ball buster.

Kay Corleone is the all American girl who falls in love, winds up a Mafia don's wife, rebels and grows in character.

Kay's character is inherently strong. Strength and courage are pre-requisites for her demanding lifestyle.

Madonna has the perfect acting experience for this role. For example there was (a)Who's That Girl (b) Desperately Seeking Susan and of course (c) Dick Tracey. Madonna's movie characters have such incredible depth and she always puts in an award winning performance!

you are right! i do not know how she did not win an oscar for 'swept away' and to a lesser extent 'shangai suprise' but great films where madonna really shone.
