My favourite tracks r Frozen and Like a Prayer too. I love others just as much! I love listening to the different remixes of Sorry, especially the PSB one.

Of course Madonna is the best singer. Who else can sing ‘Papa don’t Preach’ and ‘Nothing Really Matters’ as soulful and as dramatic as she does, and still after so many years kick butt with Hung Up and Get Together?

he-he... clearly you are delusional, hoe-srow, he-he. your idol hag isn't even on MTV and Blender Magazine's isn't even on the list of MTV and BLENDER magazine's "Greatest Voices in Music Poll":

1)Mariah Carey (TOP SPOT!)
2)Freddie Mercury
3)Whitney Houston
4)Bono
5)Christina Aguilera
6)Alanis Morissette
7)Kurt Cobain
8)Björk
9)Céline Dion
10)Tupac Shakur

The countdown was not based simply on the artist's vocal prowess, claims Tom Calderone, music and talent vice president at MTV2 and MTV. "We considered how the voice complements the music and connects with listeners. It comes down to how compelling and influential that voice is to people's lives."

Madonna's greatest ballads collection, this album contains many of Madonna's best ballads of yesteryear, as well as a few new ones.
I Want You (with MASSIVE ATTACK) is a powerful, seductive song. "I want you to want me, I want you, but I want you to want me too" Madonna croons, silkily. Resist that if you can. MASSIVE ATTACK add a powerful backing music to it that adds weight to the song. A long introduction starts this song, with a hip-hop drum with exceptional emphasis on the bass, and a semi-tone string figure. Madonna sings this song of desire and unrequited love in a languid manner, her vocal right to the front of the mix. The theme of wanting to change the mind of a reluctant lover could almost be from a James Bond theme tune, indeed this song could well be one in its style. The second chorus comes in with the swirl of a harp. The drum loop goes on repeating, complete with a strange bleeping noise on top of it, which has the same effect as a telephone ringing when you're otherwise engaged late at night. The singing is supplemented by spoken passages. Though it does seem overlong if just listened to, if watched with the black and white video, it is extremely fitting and conveys the heartache of waiting for love that will never be returned.
I'll Remember is from the film 'With Honors'. Madonna sings of how she's been helped by the love of someone who is no longer with her, but for whom she feels great gratitude - "and I'll remember the love that you gave me, now that I'm standing on my own". A lovely ballad. Which is interesting, as the song was arranged by dance/soul buffs and slowed down. A steadily reverberating synth keyboard pulses throughout the track like a heartbeat. Backing vocals on the later choruses add nice support, along with a few strings cascading down just before the third chorus. In style, this could be a Seventies song in places, apart from the arrangement and the very heavy low bass. Madonna's voice is submerged behind the keyboard and there is no climax to the song, it just plays and then fades in a very understated way - which is particularly classy and effective. This was one of Madonna's biggest radio hits in the US, but it is something of a forgotten gem (which is ironic, given the title!), probably because the film wasn't so big.
Take a Bow is a classic Madonna song - an extremely successful song that Americans in particular liked, though Europeans were less keen. A slow and rhythmic recitation, Maddy 'commends' her lover on his acting ability, and says that he ought to get an award. This doesn't refer to any acting aspirations, but to his relationship with her. He broke her heart and it's time to end it all...very sentimental. Musically, there is more than a hint of the Far East here, with oriental pentatonics and exotic chop-suey strings. The verse is sustained by a long descending chord sequence with a few odd twists.

Best singer? Have you ever heard her sing without music behind her? She STINKS! She'll do whatever it takes to reinvent herself. About as phoney as a $3.00 bill! She has a "huge" industry behind her - writing songs, editing, putting it all together. A monkey could do better.
But her music is not the worst thing. The worst thing is her persona. One minute she is reading cute little stories to kids and the next she is swearing like a trucker.
And what is with the red string cult?!
O.K. whatever works Madge. Even if that means staging a military koo. LOL!

As you're totally ignorant, this is what is written in the I'll remember CD, a celebration of Madonna's softests ballads.

Yes a fine singer Madonna is and you fool, madonna hand picks the people she works with, most of them are unknowns as she has artistic vision, she writes all her own songs, pick up the credits and all producers taht have had the honour of working with her have atested that she is a prolific songwriter in the studio, bursting with ideas and expression and a complete perfectionist - so go crawl under your screy rock and educate yourself before making stupid comments, you stupid idiot

What Michael McCarthy wrote is 100% true. Madonna’s diamond voice has soul.“Don’t play with something that you should cherish for life”. Voices like Madonna’s don’t come around every day. The backrooms of the churches are full of the likes of other screaming gospel starlets. Madonna is the best doesn’t matter if jealous people like it or not. Some people are too busy daydreaming they failed to listen to:

I want you;
You’ll see;
Live to tell;
Papa don’t preach;
Nothing really matters;
Like a prayer;
Mothers and Fathers;

And much much more.

It is Madonna's voice that drives the music. Music alone does not commuicate worth of 250000000 records. There has to be a lasting voice to drive the message home. Madonna's story telling voice expresses drives the music.Not to mention the performance that go with it.

It does not matter who types what, even if it is a quoted form, Michael's message remains the same and I agree with him.
