Madonna pays tribute to Michael Jackson in concert

From one role model to another

Just returned from the London concert at the O2. To say it was disappointing is putting it mildly. Already an hour late, the crowd started to boo and then miraculously it started. We were treated to a variety of "Madonna does step aerobics", "Madonna does jump rope", and "Madonna's dancers do boxercise". It was like watching a gym class for a couple of hours.
She lip-synched her way through most of the two hours and the whole affair was terribly disjointed.
I have always loved Madonna and admired her constant re-invention but this was nothing short of a hasty rehash. At this stage of her life and mine, I'm not looking to see her do a tawdry pole dance routine; I just want to hear her sing. And unfortunately tonight, there was very little of that.

She is 50 years old and for her age she looks in great shape.I was never a fan but respect her performances and ability. Sometimes performers do not know when to quit..Just how much money does one need?

We were sitting in the upper tier of the arena. The screens at the side of the stage were way too small. As a result we could not see much. Would have have been better ( and a LOT cheaper) to watch the DVD. The crowd booing was a first for me and something I would not expect to hear at a Madonna concert. In the end it all became so boring we left early. Madonna coming on so late was disrespectful to say the least.

English people are funny....always complaining. No wonder Victoria Beckham moves to USA..

Hey -- there were cameras, where else would anyone expect this aging 'hoe to be? Of course she hoped to cash in and exploit his death to get herself more face time.

Funny how the sick and twisted secular perverts all get together and celebrate the sick and twisted perverted lifestyles every chance they get! How sad society has devolved to this low point!

Go Madonna...you will be always be the Queen.

That's too bad. She sang mostly live in LA. It was a treat.

I agree. Why would you complain because a concert just starts one hour late? Strange that people would boo.

The biggest tribute to Michael would be to leave his music alone. No one can cover it because there is only one mold for the Presley, Lennon and Michael. Nobody else comes even close. That includes Madonna.

Did you know the boy in the first case came out and admitted he LIED for his father to get money?

Did you know the family in the second case trial was not just trying to get money from Jackson, but they were also committing fraud with the government?

Why you lost Michael must be from lies you bought into.
