Fans who love Hitchcock, make an M. Night of it

This movie will sweep the Razzies.

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who thinks "Unbreakable" is a good movie.

How much is Shamalama paying you? This is actually worse the The Lady in the water and I thought that was impossible..This time acting couldn't even same a tiny bit of this film..Get a new career

This review is about as bad as the movie. M. Night--the most overrated director EVER!

I'll go see anything by Shyamalan...it is better than most of the recycled,
formulaic drivel that's out there.

This is the worst movie that I have ever seen. Shama-lama-ding-dong is on a steady decline and this movie is the cess pool at the bottom of the pit of his career. It was so predictable my friends and I started taking bets during the movie on what classic and predictable way the next person was going to bite it.

I will admit though- going to see this movie with all of my friends have brought us the best continuous joke that we have had for a while- "watch out! Don't piss off the plants!"

I thought the movie was mostly effective in conveying feelings of dread and paranoia. It also managed to convey the idea - and this is truly scary to me - that we humans only appear to be masters of this planet and by spoiling our own nest will sooner or later will have to suffer the consequences!

Unbreakable is one of my all time favorate movies. Too bad the rest of his movies are so bad.

P.S. I saw the Hulk last night and it was a great movie.

'The Happening' is a work of art. It's a sleeper. Not even I got it at first, plodding through it, I was confused. One gruesome death after another, but the monster in the movie is invisible.
And Shyamalan tricked us all. That's the genius.'The Happening' is not about plants attacking humankind, it's not about the environment fighting back. That's just the story on the surface.
What 'The Happening' really did is break all the rules. It's really a movie about suicide.
This is the first time in my life that I've seen a movie that I don't want my teenager to see. The R rating is well-deserved.

While the story/plot itself wasn't bad, the dialog was atrocious,("Everyone, this is Kevin. He's a real estate agent. He knows of a town not far from here that's not on your maps." -- WHAT!? This is 2008, the age of GPS, not 1952!) Compounding the ridiculous dialog, was the horrible acting and casting. The moment they showed Mark Wahlberg as a high school teacher, the film lost all credibility. Lines by the majority of actors were delivered as if they were honoring Prince's acting in Purple Rain. ugh. Don't go. Don't waste your money. Go rent "12 Angry Men" and enjoy superior acting and dialog.

Incredibly boring.........acting - if that's what you can call it - was absolutely terrible. I cannot believe the man that directed "Signs" and "The Sixth Sense" did this movie. Perhaps there is an alien that has taken over M. Night's body! Don't go!! Don't rent!
