''Idol' champ Fantasia playing herself in TV movie

I love Fantasia!!!!!!!!!! She is definitely a role model to our youth.

I beleive that something should be said about the brilliant young writer, KEITH GLOVER who was able to transform this wonderful book into a movie that we all can relate to and enjoy. well I am a little bias because I am his mother but my god when will the publicity state this.so far zipo.DEBBIE, FANTASIA, AND THE CAST AND TO ALL INVOLVE THANKS

I enjoyed the Fantasia Barrino story. What a great actress! She did a fantastic job. Her life was not about poverty. Seems to me, she was raised in a very spritual family, she still has good morals. Her decision to have her baby was the right choice. That's because Fantasia was raised to live a christian life. I don't see where she did anything awful. Her problem with not be able to read was probably because of poor southern teachers. But she's on the right road now. As many women in Hollywood having babies out of wedlock and living such disgusting lives. They make Fantasia look like a saint. Fantasia did a fine acting job. I really enjoyed the show. I'm proud of her and she is a role model.

I just got finished watching....And I have to agree that her acting was not the best...BUT...I thought it was believable. As a singer....I have never had a singer move me like Fantasia since I first heard Ella Fitzgerald when I was a little girl. She has a wonderful gift and such a bright future. I am sure that her nerves got the best of her...and I also believe that acting with some of the other talent in the movie had to be a bit intimidating. In my eyes...it's at least a B+(to their C) I cried...if those producers REALLY did what we saw in that movie....I am mortified....The fact that they are denying it is very typical...I remember all the hateful and down right cruel things the boards said about her during that season...People are just amazing...the hatred is embarrassing. FANTASIA>...you GO!! Chase EM baby, CHASE EM!!!

Fantasia is living the "american dream". And she did it herself. I think she's great and i'm glad she is getting more recognition.
