A few years ago,I saw a wonderful movie on television that I thought was titled: "The Shadowbox". It told the story of the first movie seen in China - in the late 1800s I think. It was about a filmaker creating a movie by filming everyday Chinese people doing everyday things. There was a scene where the filmaker got an audience with the Emperer of China. He attempted to run his film for the Emperer but the projector caught on fire. I want to see it again, but I cannot find it under the title of "The Shadowbox". Do you know of this film ? What is its correct title? I want to get it at the library or purchase a copy. Thank you. Susan K.K.
