Actress says she was kicked off flight for being gay

If the display of affection was really extreme, they were probably justified. They have always been a gay-friendly outfit.

I am more concerned with them kicking fat people off of flights.

Right to refuse service. Keep that kind of behavior at home.

Her dirty mouth, not her kiss got her kicked off.

Oh, please. Southwest? If they fired all the gay employees, they would have to shut down tomorrow. I was not there, but I can only imagine the scene she was making. Methinks alcohol may have been involved also.

I believe everyone has the right (not privilege) to kiss and show affection to their spouse/partner/mate. I do, however, believe that everyone needs to keep it to a reasonable level when in public. A "hot and bothered" kiss is unacceptable in public, in my opinion, regardless of the sex of the two people. However, in contrast, an affirmative kiss of affection is perfectly fine for any couple.

From what I understand, there were some people who felt that the kiss was "too much". If the ladies were doing a "hot and bothered" kiss, I'd be bothered, too - just not in a good way. If the person just did not want to see it, then they should have just looked away and realized many people may not want to see them kissing someone in public, either. I don't know the full circumstances, so I can't comment with any certainty.

Gee are you and I the only ones that read the article. People just jump in and do know the whole story. Guess her mommie didn't use enough or any soap on her mouth when she was a young in. That is the reason she got the boot of the plane.

You know the problem is not whether she was a lesbian but the fact they were making a public display of affection. It is annoying to see anyone male or female making out in public. When a guy drapes himself over his girl friend like he owns her or puts his hands all over her backside or into her pocket it becomes disgusting almost to nauseatingly upset. The same with same sex couples. Public displays should be very limited and not on a crowded bus, airplane or boat. A small peak on the cheek is one thing but swapping spit is another. Her untamed mouth is another thing. She needs to learn how to take criticism and channel her anger.

Every air line is a family airline. Maybe each and every airline should publish rules about personal code of behavior when a ticket is purchased as part of the contract with the buyer

How right you are! Not every man can have a hot straight girl like me. Fat chicks do serve a purpose after all. They keep ugly men company :)

I wasnt there either, but common sense would dictate that it was more than a quick kiss and probably repeatedly. Otherwise no one would have noticed.

I would have kicked her off the plane just for the dirty mouth.
