Unfortunately for a lot of white Americans, they see someone else of a different color and right away they judge them as "illegal".

I was at the same ceremony last month. I was embarrassed for my country when they played Lee Greenwood and I thought half of those there were going to change their mind and give up their citizenship just to escape that song and get out of the hall.

Nothing like the American entrepreneurial spirit,$20 for a photo you'll put away and never look at again. They also had little red/white/blue teddy bears with the date on them for about the same price, a month later I wonder how many suckers, I mean buyers, still have them on display.

Not begrudging the vendors for finding a nice little money-making niche in this economy. Welcome to the US where you are free to spend your money on anything!

To David Huffington: If you don't like the vendors go give it all for free. Embarrassed for America? Are you just quoting M. Obama because you think it makes you sound...politically correct? What you see as profiteering these immigrants see as proof that America is a land of opportunity and choice. Have you never been to TJ? Have you ever been outside of the USA? You think we have street vendors and all here are crazy, check the rest of the world.

To my new fellow Americans: Just remember, one group wants to take your money and one group believes YOU deserve and are capable of managing your own money. I congratulate and welcome these new citizens who went through the proper channels and came here legally.

What I strongly detest and oppose are those who snuck in or overstayed their visas and are here illegally -- and now have politicians pandering for votes peddling "immigration reform" which is code language for amnesty.

And let's not forget that the United States admits the most (legal) immigrants in the world, well over 1 million annually. We are the most generous nation on earth in this regard.

Opposing "comprehensive immigration reform" i.e., amnesty for 12-20 million illegal aliens, is not "anti-immigrant" but rather anti-illegal immigration.

So despite the hysteria we see in the media, Arizona's common sense new law is actually pro-immigrant. Rather than suing Arizona, the Obama administration should be thanking and supporting this state.

100% Navajo, both sides american indian, for as far as a cloud can see. I welcome only those who will contribute to our great nation. It is those who use our nation for there own greed that must be extracted.

We voted for any slug with a d beside it's name on a ballot and have nothing positive to show for it in the County or the State.
Wait until Brown gets elected. That should deliver the final death blow to our State.
