2.) And on the album sleeve of "confessions" fraudonna's mirror pose mimic that of kylie's "mirror pose"(in lingerie) as well.

Not to mention Madonkey copying Kylie's che guevarra poster concept for the former's American Crap-o-Life album (which flopped by the way and earned BLENDER magazine's 9th WORST SONG IN HISTORY via American Life) cover.

god!! shaun really!!! you are as bad as charlie when it comes to repeat postings, change the record! both kylie and madonna alike have influenced each other, kylie even admits that she has madonna influences in her work you nutter so get over it, everyone lives life with different influences so what madonna and KYLIE are doing is just human nature

these are artist are very similar, but complete opposites in terms of their personality and style, thats proberly why they both are good freinds.

"Rip" is a bit harsh, but Madonna and Kylie alike are both surely "influenced" by different elements. They borrow from different periods,trends and pop culture references to their benefit. This Madonna does admittedly, so Delia you've lost that arguement. If you really think Madonna "invented" Vogue-ing, dreamt up the whole look and feel of "Music inferno" from the Confessions tour or did a Marlene Deitrich inspired rendition of "Like A Virgin" in Girlie Show by mistake then you're as nutty as Charlie. I am British but I have been a Kylie Minogue fan for 18 years.

In the last 5 years Madonna has been ripping of Kylie.

Kylie covered Donna Summers I feel love first 2002 Madonna copied her in 2006.

but on the other hand Kylie covered Madonna on her homecoming tour Madonna supported Kylie through her breast cancer and is good freinds.

so maybe Madonna and Kylie are good friends.

Why don't you say Madonna "rips" off anything or sources? You call that everything but, then freely choose to say Kylie "rips". Madonna nor Kylie "rips" off of anything. Well, I for one want to thank Charlie for his analysis. I knew about the Che graphic and the timing was exactly copy-cat.

I didn't know about these other "badges" of larceny because I don't follow Madonnaology.

Friends? They certainly were not friends when Madonna came out at the Swedish Euro show with "Kylie Minogue" emblazoned across her shirt. We know that because Kyle didn't know how to take it. She thought Madge might be belittling her or trying to be sarcastic. She put kind face on it afterwards, because Kylie is a kind person. But the t-shirt wasn't official Kylie merchandise so just the wearing of it was a ripoff of Kylie's rights to license her trademark.

Madonna knows she is way older than the people who buy pop music today so she is glomming onto Kylie to learn what's hip. Some women make like friends with other women so that they can keep the other woman from stealing their man or so they can steal the other woman's man. I think if Madonna is playing friends of Kylie, it is shallow and just so that Kylie's management does not call her on her misappropriation of Kylie's creations.

Just the fact Madonna moved to London is a copying Kylie thing. Because Kylie is more happening than Madonna is.

BTW, Darren and the rest of the blokes who think with lower hemispheres (under their waist) have selective memory and happened to forget that Kylie had four face lifts to date, Dani had two. It's hardly a secret in Melbourne circles. So, Madge had fewer 'nip and tucks' than Kylie although she needed them more as a mother of two children, which again speaks in her favour. At least, she knew when it was time to settle down and managed her family and her career rather well so far. Madonna is hardly a copycat because she launched her career and kept it going in a steadier and hippier way than Kylie could ever do. Check Kylie's history well then check what's and who's shallow and why. Unlike Kylie, Madge took singing lessons and has better diction and technique. Kylie relies on the techno mastery of her team. If you take all the back-up tapes when she's singing live, you'd be hardly able to hear her sing without losing her pitch every two minutes. If you had her grandiose team of assistants to polish up a soundtrack and amplify your voice you'd be s hit singer in no time. Guess what, Kylie wouldn't let anyone buy rights to do her song, and that is tarnishing her image here lately. Why? Because they would sound so much better in Beyonce's or Mariah's interpretation and totally kill Kylie's sales and the Kylie illusion.
