The KISS bass player tied the knot with his girlfriend of 28 years, Shannon Tweed , in October despite previously claiming he would never marry and Gene admitted it is the couple's wild antics in the bedroomthat have kept them together for so long.

Twenty-eight years of togetherness--married or not-- is commendable. The only couple I can think of who've endured as long are Alan Hamel and Suzanne Somers. Then there's the Osbornes. I think one reason couples tough out a relationship--particularly after fifty-- is that the parties feel they're too old to split up and look elsewhere for someone new, plus they're set in their ways, and would find adapting to another partner arduous.

I say pure BS. The only reason why Shannon stayed with Gene & put up with all of his cheating was for $$$$$$$. Do you think she would put up with the crapola if he made $30,000.00 a year and not millions???????? She was forced to get plastic surgery to remain appealing for him, too.

I believe their story as much as I believe that Kim Kardashian married for love.
