Just to keep true to my promise ...
The ATMOSPHERE at the concert WAS ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING and Keith had everyone on HIS VERY FIRST SONG ...
It all went too fast and of course everyone wanted more ... It was very hot and Keith and the band must have been out on their feet for the count ...
SWEATY AND FULLY SPENT ...
KEITH sang superbly well, better than his cd ... HONESTLY, I WAS SO IMPRESSED AND OH, SO PROUD ...
All Filmed for his KUNet tube TOO ...
From the very first songs including SHINE (Keithlover for you)... And the eruption of cheers and whistles and MY melodious bellows of FANTASTIC !!! AND WOO WHOO'S !!! "SHINE-KEITH-SHINE" TO "JUST BRILLIANT" ... to "WE WANT KU & THE CHANTS OF MORE" demanding an ENCORE ..
Keith and the band walked the long extended stage to the centre of the concert hall, just across from Pete and me and just before he began to sing ... Could it be possible he heard me "bellow" SHINE, KEITH SHINE ... He did stop for a moment ... Then began singing STUPID BOY !!!
I WAS ON MY FEET ... But kept my emotions in check as difficult as it seemed, although Peter believed there was someone who became emotionally unstuck behind us ... "CAN YOU HEAR SOMEONE CRYING" ... One lady I spoke with at the airport on the way home, said she cried on every song ???
I myself was there to have the time of my life AND I was so filled with pride for Keith and all that he displayed ... Well, I do have a tear now ... Just thinking how well he did and how far he has come ...
I had a couple beside me, "I didn't know he had such a great voice" ... "I didn't know he could play a guitar that well" SO Keith has won a few new hearts I believe ...
AND OF COURSE HE DID DO A WALK AROUND THE AUDIENCE ... Although not as much as 2005 ... But we had the BIG SCREEN this time, so it was a more up close and personal AND a special video experience for his fans ...
Keith would have and should have left the concert arena an extremely proud man ... Some are saying Saturday night was even better ??? Could that possibly be ...
The big screen and lighting where definately what was needed and even though 2005 was a great concert ... The professionalism displayed this time round was and will be the making of Keith Urban in Australia ...
I also listened to ABC Country Radio last night and Keith was the special guest ... They did a fantastic interview too, which I intend to send my compliments today ...

Thanks for the detailed report on the concert. I can tell it was super and read it through your words. How exciting!! I'm getting silly goose bumps just feeling the happiness in your post. One question? Why did you not grab his leg when he walked by? HA HA!! I know you kept the emotions intact. I don't know if I'll be able too. Yes, it will be very difficult. Glad to hear about the big screen that always helps...

Ok...I'm envious, so I really suspect Keith gave up Manchester or his major show, and I can't go in Germany- England in October..I made some research on the net and found out that, when, in the past he had to cancel shows, he was serious ill, not sunbathing and swimming a week after...I accept it, it's part of the showbiz...hope only he won't disappoint noone more because I fear he is losing a part of fans- not the ones who dye for him..but the general- : in the 2007 he hadn't won anything and his actual 3 singles are going worst compared to those of Golden Road and Be here...I found how many awards he won beetween 2002 aqnd 2006:a really great amount, for music, lives and also for the look...and then it cames out that this healthy and golden guy was a druggie...Anyway hope this tour 'll go well, because this guy had and still has all the numbers to become a real superstar on his own- without necessarily be known for his problems and marriage- : easy songs, great look, maybe one day Keith will full arenas also in Europe (he isn't a strict country singer)..I don't know if he has the real perception of what he could be, besides publicity hasn't help him always..
