"Then, there is the acual situation in Germany. The ticketssales are less than they hoped. There are still no plans for a new single or any promotion..... it is summer and there is a big break in Musicbusiness. All the big TV Shows, where Keith could promote, have a summerbreak.
If you see it in the promotional way, it is better to cancel the shows here, because he is busy in the US in full venues, than to come to Europe and play in front of half-filled venues. It is better for the media. When I was Keiths manager, I had cancelled the tourdates. too.(I think he meant to say 'if' he was his manager and used the wrong tense.)

In 2008, there is a chance to start new with a new single, new promotion in TV and radio, new power. There would be more fans, who will come to the concerts. If you are really honest, not everybody is a maniac as us. Most "normal" Fans join ONE concert of an artist in a year... not several ones. It is to expensive, too, just to see the same show, with the same setlist again and again. Do you watch the same movie in cinema again and again? So in 2008, more fans from the Aprilconcerts will be back in the ticket sales.

Finally:
I WILL Keith to be successful... but more important healthy and happy. His private life is much more important than everything else... and if this caused the tourdates to be postponed, that is ok. So I am sad that he will not be here in October... but I am sure, he thougth a lot about this decision and he earns a lot of respect from me.

So.... we will cry a little bit, but than we will happy to read more of your reviews, we have fun seeing YOU in the US having fun... and we will hold or heads high and the hearts open for that will come in 2008.

you know; if i can just jump in on this new discussion about cancelled shows - i think he could have done a slimmed down version for europe and uk - he could have ducked out and back - it's him people want to see - even on a bare stage - he needs to be so careful now with the kind of energy he is creating around himself ... each single one of his fans must feel he cares about them ...

Even if I continue to think he's a great musician and entertainer (when circumstances let him to jump on stage)I think that his behaviour is completely wrong towards his (few) european fans.
I wasn't interested in the October dates for work, but surely i won't attend any european Urban concert anymore: I have to travel, book flights and consider that he cancelled 15 shows in the last 2 years. Every reason could be considered good for the deletion: too much dates in not small venues, so poor sales; familiar commitments(celebrations both good or bad);focusing on the lucky US tour and new relases...but YOU KEITH and your management planned this european fall tour! So It has no sense to plan all this and then cancel...it means lack of organisation!If your marriage is causing you problems, be brave and quit...if your private life is good,but your management isn't doing right things, be brave and quit....
your fans can forgive the demons of your past, the Hollywood behaviour that now, sometimes, you assume; but they can't forgive the lack of honesty and loyalty shown (expecially in Europe). Come back to be the one you were in 2005!

His marriage is fine and well.. stop blaming Nicole if he breaks a fingernail even- sheesh!
You can't turn back time phyllis, time moves forward. Keith has achieved superstardom and I for one am very proud he has!
If you were a true fan, you could see it as Marc so wonderfully put it-
Its up to you whether you want to be a fan or not and see him when he does return to Europe..

Louise, I am truly sorry this happened to you!
We do not know all the whys or whatevers- and speculation does no good...
Keith's management made this decision, not Keith himself...
and we have no idea as to why at this point- no explanation yet..
all I know is what I have read thus far..the only blessing is that tickets would be honored in the future- and/or refunds available now..

I'm afraid it's all very well to say that tickets would be honourable in the future, This is what was said in April...and ...BANG...he does it again!

It's not right that they treat the fans in Europe this way purely because they are the smallest fanbase...They wouldn't dare do this in the states.

And I don't believe for one minute that it's all to do with The management and keith has no control over it...at this rate he's gonna be lucky to have any fans left over here if he continues to treat us this way.

Don't assume I haven't sympathetic thoughts about the fans in Europe, England and Ireland ... I have been on Monkeyville conversing with them about this very topic ...

NOT MUCH WE CAN DO, HOWEVER ...

And, I would be disappointed if Keith had had to cancel the Aussie tour, BUT he didn't and I am thankful ... But, a cancellation would not change my persuasion of Keith Urban's music ... I do believe a descent explanation should be forth-coming and deserved for those concerned ... I am particular about all things being dealt with professionally, however I don't know the rhyme or reason ...

The concerts are postponed NOT CANCELLED until 2008 and please don't be confused, Keith Urban did keep his commitment to tour Europe and England prior to heading to OZ and his second-leg tour was announced on the success of those concerts ...

I did mention that it was reported that Keith was offered the movie title track by Baz Luhrmann for "Australia" ... However, this has not been confirmed by KU's management ... I have made some enquiries thorough our media and I'm awaiting a response ... Even if it was so, it would probably not be understood or excepted by Keith fans, that he choose something " SO PERSONAL" over their love and devotion of him ... We will just have to see if there is truth in that pudding and the other second-hand info coming to fruition about the whys and wherefores of Keith cancelling his October tour ...

CHOICES for those who have been supporting Keith's music whether to be patient or pissed-off and whether they should perhaps even give Keith Urban the flick ... But, for Christ's sake make the choice instead of barking all over the KU forums ...

PUT YOUR GRIEVANCES IN WRITING TO KEITH'S MANAGEMENT ...

Then, pick your chins up off your chest and find a better man or musician or entertainer to raise your roof and without doubt KEITH WILL GET THE MESSAGE ...

If it had happened to me, it would not make me less of a fan! Of course I would have received a refund!

Oh, and refunds ARE available for Euorpeans, my God- notice is given now in July for October! I do feel bad for them- I would feel bad for me if it happened to me as well.

Life has taught me that you win sometimes and you lose sometimes..
I am not so self centered as to not try to understand from Keith's side.

Its not like he will not ever be over there again- he will!
If they want to be his fans so be it, if not - its their choice, period.
