I will state for the record that I am a KEITH fan and not a anybody else fan. I have KEITH'S best interest at heart, and not anybody else's. I support whatever is in KEITH'S best interest. And that means what is REALLY in his best interest, not poor choices he makes while he's using mind altering chemicals..
Jen Hi Jenny, i really appreciate that you've taken the time out to delve deeply into this quite unfathomable situation -and of course no-one knows the full picture - i haven't been a Keith fan - in fact i don't like the album i bought to check him out - nevertheless i accept that he is a great entertainer ..... i simply can't at all understand why Oz is snubbing him - esp that he is married to one of their own ..... anyway - everything is predicated upon box-office and sales and being 'number one', top of the pile, A-list - but what for? too far to fall .... oh dear ...what really can one say ..... now i really really want to see Keith live in concert ...

Keith is out of rehab after 2 weeks.
now that is quite interesting? so you think he'll turn up to the CMA's afterall?

I've decided I won't buy the CD, and you know why?
because I won't put another nickel in a person's pocket that throws it down their throat or shoves it up their nose for self destruction purposes.
just like you stated in another thread, is it them or us that makes them rich and famous?
I'm so tired of all the double speak, he can't even answer a straight forward question anymore,It's like he's running for public office...he gets snarky with the dj's in his radio junkets, and I'm sorry but that shows me a severe lack of respect for his fans.
it use to be about "HIS" music "HE" was an upcoming bright star, and "He" I guess got the notion that it was easier to sit on his arse and collect Bentley's and houses, and jets then to get off his lazy arse and work for it himself. He is now referred to here, not as Keith Urban but Keith Kidman.. boy that says alot for his self respect and self esteem or a lack there of. Certainly not a way he presented himself to fans at the start of his career. you know that nice sincere, humble, down to earth lost boy from Oz. what a load of codswallop that all was!
Good Ozzie boy??? no way!!! your country mate has so much better to off then this...
and I'm done. Good luck to him. He'll need it.

I have met so many good people here on the KU News Forum and if that's the only reward I get from spending time with folks I hardly know then it will be much more then I expected and a great pleasure in deed ... We all have a preconceived idea about what people from other countries are about ... I'm even guilty of that, and I have been so privileged to meet folks world-wide here and I have been unbelievably lucky to share a little of myself with them and learn so much from their experiences in life and of course their love and support for Keith Urban ... I'm also grateful you are amongst those friends on this forum Lisa and Keith would have to be stoked at the appreciation of his music and over-whelming concern for his well-being ... His single has debuted on the ARIA charts in Oz at #18 and #5 in his home state of Queensland ... That is just about his best effort since leaving Australia in the early 1990's ... His album cd is outstanding and honestly there a few tears fall when listening to it ... See, tough on the outside but soft in the middle. Cheers mate ... Colleen
